BR6 H4 DA PARTY GAL($5.50): Good run last start when too far back and steaming home. Will get back in running from barrier 7 but would like to see him a little closer in running. Has great track and distance form and is a pistol 3rd up. Adept in all conditions. Would be surprised if not in the finish.
DE PARTY GAL($4.20); 10th beaten 6.14L,
SR8 H2 MR BRIGHTSIDE($5.50): What a great win in the All Star Mile last start. Form out of that race has been winning form with Cascaidian coming out and bolting in last week. Loves the track and distance and from barrier will sit just behind the pace. Zac Purton is a huge bonus. Is adept in all conditions. Huge chance.
MR. BRIGHTSIDE($6); FIRST GIDDYUP!!!
SR10 H1 PARISAL($6): Great gritty on pace win last start when challenged in the straight. Will be up on pace again from barrier 6. Loves good tracks and the distance suits. J Mac in the saddle is ideal. Drops 1kg into this. Will kick at the distance and prove hard to run down.
PARISAL($8.50); 2nd/$2.50 place beaten 1.34L,
MR8 H5 MUNHAMEK($2.70): Since this horse got out to the mile he has been a different horse. From barrier 6 will go forward maybe just behind the leaders. Loves good tracks. Ticks a lot of boxes here and looks very hard to beat.
MUNHAMEK($2.90); 7th beaten 4.05L,
SUMMARY: Bandersnatch got the job done in Our best last week at around $7.50. So happy days there. Hope we can keep the momentum going this week! Lets dive straight into it and go to the T.J Smith and we think Giga Kick4.40 can get the win here. Ran home strongly last start over the 1000m. The step out to the 1200m is ideal. Zac Purton on board is a huge bonus. I Wish I Win($8) has been racing super 2 runs from a spell. The pace will be hot in this race which will suit this galloper down to the ground. The 1200m is ideal and is adept in all conditions. Will be steaming home! In Secret($6) fantastic win last start in the Newmarket. Gets back in her racing so the barrier won’t be a problem and will be steaming home. Track and distance suits. Nature Strip($5.50) what a race horse he has been. He was a bit fat first up and ran accordingly. Has had a month off and back to Sydney is ideal and the 1200m will suit. He is a Champion race horse so leave him out at your own peril. Would be surprised if not in the top4. Private Eye($7.50) a great return in the Newmarket and was in the worst ground that day! Track and distance suits and is adept in all conditions, 2nd up ideal and will put himself where ever in the run from barrier 2. A cracking race. Off to the Derby and Sharp ‘N’ Smart($3.20) looks the one to beat here. Was wide for most of the trip in the NZ DERBY but held them off. Will be fitter for that and from barrier 17 will be midfield, Hugh Bowman aboard is a bonus. Pericles($3.80) absolutley bolted in last start over the 2000m. The step up to the 2400m is ideal. Will be just behind the speed here, J Mac aboard and handles all conditions. Japanese Emperor ($15) has been getting better with each start this prep and finally reaches his grand final over the 2400m. From barrier 1 would be surprised if he gets too far from there. Beautifully bred to get over this trip. Will be grinding home hard at the end. Williamsburg($34) his first run over 2000m was fantastic and the step out to the 2400m is ideal. Will be around midfield hopefully and steaming home at a rate of knots. Another cracking race. We are absolutley estatic for todays racing to kick off. So much to watch and take in over the next 5 hrs. Overcast on the Coast today but that won’t dampen our enthusiasm for a huge day of racing and plenty of winners to boot.
