When the two year olds step out in October you know the Spring Carnival is on its way now. Let’s dive straight into it and we will talk about the Tab Epsom and Ceolwulf really picks himself in this race. Three runs in this prep have been so good. His third to Autumn Glow 2 weeks back was a cracker. Track, distance and 4th up all bonuses. Hard to beat from barrier 7. Autumn Boy keeps meeting The star in Sheza Alibi over the 1600m. Not here today and maybe that’s his chance to grab his 2nd win over this distance. Is great 3rd up and is adept in all conditions. Another good one for Chris Waller and Co. Well Written what a great horse she is and been hit with a hefty ratings increase for her for NZ form which seems a bit much. But never the less you don’t go 7 in a row in the strongest company without having some talent. Great distance stats and is adept in all conditions. Seen most of her wins and the thing that impresses me is her will to win, on a few occasions she looked gone but always found the margin to win. Time will tell. Attica had a great return to racing when beaten by Althoff but giving him 7 kgs which is huge. Then his run in the Tramway was so much better than it looked on paper. Just worked really nicely down the outside for 3rd not overly worked either. Finally, third up 1600m’s is ideal and we think maybe this will be his grandfinal! What a cracking days racing and we so glad Spring is back in town it only gets better from here. Sir Delius is the best mile and quarter horse in the country.
