SUMMARY: Our Best for this week are BR7 H3 Boomelli average, SR9 H1 Super Smink unplaced absolutely no luck, MR2 H4 Jacaranda honest 3rd/$1.90 place and MR10 H1 Harry’s Yacht 5th not a lot of pressure in straight……. Massive day of group racing down south with Group1’s at Caulfield and the Toorak is 1600m G1 handicap and Salty Pearl($13) is a super chance with 52 kegs. She is best on dry ground but has 2 placings on Soft. Not convinced she can’t handle Soft conditions. She has been placed at all levels and relishes this course a big bonus. Might settle up a little closer here over this distance. Williams will give her every possible. Lady Shenandoah($5) good mare with a good mares weight in 58kgs. She definitely likes to sit on the pace and although best on dry as well, she can handle the wet. Distance ideal now. Evaporate($9) probably went too hard last start nothing left. Also 58 kgs but is a tough galloper and might lead here with a more even tempo. Regal Award($4.60) might have something to say about that as he definitely loves to lead and if gets easy time it could be game over. We would love to see plenty of juice in the race though. Welcometotheshow($16) ia a super consistent galloper and is the type of horse that can figure big time in a handicap. The Guineas G1 over the same distance Warwoven ($2.30) will give them something to catch but really liked the way Diameter($26) finished his race off last start. Central Europe ($15) galloped really well during the week might be here for the Derby. Interesting race. Rosehill has some good Group races as well none better than the Alan Brown stakes Estadio Mestallo($19) 3rd up and on his favourite track might steamroll over the top of his stablemates. Anyway a great days racing. Two winners in Our Best last week along with plenty of winners and exotics for multi runner players.
