- SUMMARY: OUR BEST for this week are *** BR3 H6 FREE CARRY, BR8 H6 ROCK YA($6), MR10 H5 PORTER($5.50) best bets are like hens teeth today super tricky all over. Cracking day on site last week with Cristal Clear($6.40) & Jigsaw($2.60) both saluting and Battlefield running th eplace at 3bucks so GIDDYUP’s!!! all round. Also winners all over the place with exotics and the Early Quaddie in Bris Vegas paying a cool $2k so GIDDYUP!! again. It is a G1athon today with the big highlight the Golden Slipper over 1200m for 2 year olds. Streisand($7) is the one here she won the Blue Dianond in style. Travelled 3 wide and just too strong in the end. There will be a lot speed in this race with Paradoxium, Clpser To Free and Shiki leaders. Sreisand hopefully sits just behind them and pounce at the distance. Warwoven($10) will also be just behind the speed and has a very good burst of speed when required. Guest House($9) ran a super race in the Diamond when a tad unlucky and will be getting home hard. Closer To Free($8) is a classy horse with a great turn of foot. He will be there when the chips are down and boxing on strongly. Chayan($7) was getting home like a steam train in the Diamond on a leader biased track. IT’s certainly obvious we think the Diamond form is the key here and if Streisand gets a lob just behind the leaders she will be motoring over the top. Angel Capital($10) was terribly unlucky last start and he just might spoil Jimmystar’s party in the G1 Reid at Caulfield. Short priced commodities at Caulfield today so tread carefully.
