BR4 H3 MR BUBBALUSKI($6.50) Been racing super consistent this prep. We have been waiting for him to step out in distance and that’s exactly what happens today. The 1600m looks ideal. Likes the track is adept in all conditions. Will be steaming home from midfield. RACE ABANDONED WEATHER.
SR7 H1 DUKE DE SESSA($7.50) Only just beaten by Dubai Honour last start in the Tancred. Is adept in all conditions. Will be just behind the leaders here from barrier 2. Will get going at the top of the straight the 3200m looks like a nice distance for him but has to run it out. Huge chance.
DUKE DE SESSA($7); 14th beaten 14.2L, beaut run in 3rd place on the fence, didn’t stay the trip.
MR6 H6 SHESALLSHINAIGANS($6.50) Ran well in open company last start when only just beaten over 1200m. Has had a nice freshen up and the 1100m will suit this mare. Loves Bendigo and is adept in all conditions. Will just be behind them off a fast tempo and will be steaming home.
SHE’SALLSHENANIGANS($7.50); 7th beaten 2L, seemed to have every chance.
SUMMARY: Bit disappointing For Our Best last week. A bit unlucky once we watched the replays again. Hopefully a bit more luck today. Let’s dive straight into the action and talk about the Queen Elizabeth and we think the import Dubai Honour($6) can get another win here. They started him first up over 2400m and won impressively when held up at a vital stage. Dropping back to the 2000m 2nd up is ideal. The barrier isn’t a concern as he likes to get back in his races. Pace will be on and will be steaming home. Via Sistina($2) has terrific track and distance stats. Barrier 1 might be tricky as she likes to drift back. Right hoop on to negate that though. She will have to be at her peak though cause the import looks like her main danger. Ceolwulf($15) has been pretty consistent this prep. Only narrowly beaten in the George Ryder and then lumped 61kgs in the Neville Sellwood Stakes on a bog track and was held up at a key stage and tempo didn’t suit either so had to dig in big time. Should drift back a little from the draw. Drops 2kgs from last start and is cherry rip. Will be steaming home. Vauban($21) won well fresh sound like a broken record but tempo was against last start also. I think the drop back to the 2000m will be better suited 3rd up. Will be running home also. Putting in Deny Knowledge($31) in this race. Has terrific gate speed so will be steaming to the front early. She loves the 2000m. She does her best racing when leading. Will kick clear at the top of the straight and catch me if you can she will be saying lol. A very fascinating race to watch the tactics and where they will end up but all should have there chance. A cracking days racing on the cards with the main focus at Randwick. On that exuberant note to all members having a crack today Good Luck.
