OUR BEST; SR8 H7 ROYAL CELEBRATION($3.20); she should be cherry ripe after 2 runs and races extremely well 3rd up. From her good gate they might elect to go forward and slot in just behind the speed. Still nicely in here on 55kgs, handles all conditions and the distance is ideal. Should be ready to pounce at the distance.

MR7 H1 FLORESCENT STAR($12); this filly should jump and run from her good gate. this is her first try over the distance but if they let her roll along here (Sandown can be leaderish at times) she will fight hard at the distance. Still weighted okay here on 58kegs she will be hard to run down.

FLORESCENT STAR($10); 5th beaten 2.75L,

MR8 H3 APPROACH DISCREET($5.50); We might rate him a Sandown Hillside specialist after today. He was getting home hard first up at Caulfield and the 1700m should be ideal for him second up. He will lob mid field but expect him to be steaming home late. 

APPROACH DISCREET($7.50); 3rd/$2.30 place beaten 1.5L,

BR5 H1 CLOAK($5); this galloper is always a chance and races very well third up. From his draw ( in the real world) he should crank forward and be right on the speed or take it up. Okay run second up under his big weight back to 57.5 kgs here he should be fighting out the finish. Note he doesn’t mind the rain either 

BEST EACHWAY; SR9 H7 SERENA($26);this Kiwi mare is a genuine chance here. She is very consistent and has won first up, is suited to this level and the distance is perfect. She likes to settle just off the pace and handles all conditions.

SERENA($19); 5th beaten 2L,

MR9 H4 MR MOPPET($16); the 1000M is his pet distance and reeled off a good time first up at Swan Hill and is a pistol second up. He likes to roll home from mid field and scout wide and be challenging at the distance. Handles city class and the drier the better for him. They will know he is in the race by the time the post is reached. GIDDYUP!!!

MR. MOPPETT($17); 8th beaten 3.25L,

SUMMARY; Some absolute crazy results last week especially in Brisbane. But we still had a very good day considering with Still A Star getting Our Best home. Going to dive straight in and talk about Sydney race 5 The Hawkesbury Crown and we couldn’t split Sweet Deal and Wandabaa. Sweet deal ran super last start when only beaten under a length over 1200m. The step out to the 1300m is ideal. Likes the track as well from barrier 5 she will sit closer in running and will be steaming home. Wandabaa ran well in the same race last start and probably should of finished closer after sitting wide the entire trip. The step out to the 1300m is ideal. From barrier 8 she will get back but hopefully sit a bit closer to the pace. either way she will be hard to beat. Athiri can run well first up and has trialled well. Reelem In Ruby will get back from the gate but will be running home hard. Off to Adelaide and The group 1 Tab Classic and we think Subpoenaed can run a huge race here. She was caught wide and battled on well considering last start, 3rd up today and back to the 1200m suits. Lyre and Prophet’s Thumb will be steaming home off a strong tempo. Flit will get back from the gate but might try and go forward and sit midfield she does her best racing up near the pace. The Australasian Oaks and we think Personal can bounce back here after her run in Sydney. She was bumped at start and was on the inside part of track. She should settle midfield but will need a good ride. The distance suits and the long straight of Morphetville will be ideal. Tokorangi ran well in the NZ derby, back to a good track and back to the 2000m is ideal. Hela The Tasmanian filly has an outstanding record and might be a very good horse and win this but will have to wait and see. Sirileo Miss ran super last start and the step up to the 2000m suits. Steinem ran great last start and the 2000m is ideal. Great days racing and we should see plenty of value today.
