BR4 H7 Hingus Rose($10/$3)); drawn to get the perfect run here and a senior jockey on. Wide all the way last start over 1350m and she is much better suited here over the 1200m, probably coming towards the end of her prep but we think she has another win in her.
Hingus Rose($5/$1.80); FIRST she was given a beautiful run in transit by Browne and was looming large at the distance, held up for the last surge at them. GIDDYUP!!!!
BR8 H1 Most Important($8/$2.10)); this bloke is a very good racehorse, he got one up on us last start first up(he had never won in 6 previous attempts) which points to him being in outstanding form this time in. Meets all 3 minor placegetters from the Keith Noud a little worse at the weights but we think he is a liitle better than his opponents. Price is outstanding.
Most Important($7.50/$2.20); 2nd beaten 1.3L had the drop on his stablemate all the way but when I Am A Rippa ran through his fist 600 in 35.48secs and sprinted home the last 600m in 32.95secs, the big fella was never going to run him down. Big run all the same with 60.5kgs.
SR8 H9 Catesby($9/$2.90); he nearly collected the cash for us last start at big odds. We see no reason to drop off him here with 51kegs, he likes to put himself on the speed, up a little in class but if they let him get to the front at the distance it just might be a bridge too far. GIDDYUP!!!
Catesby($6/$2.50); 2nd beaten 0.2L did a bit of work early to rest the lead off of Mapmaker, kicked clear on straightening but to Mapmakers credit fought back to just edge us out.
MR8 H4 Oncidium Ruler($26/$5); this horse does nothing first up or at distances below 2000m. His form at his next start and at 2000m plus is very good. A little closer here in the run would be ideal but his racing pattern has never wavered throughout his career HE IS OVER THE ODDS.( does not like soft tracks)
Oncidium Ruler($26/$5); 6th beaten 4.2L on the fence the whole way made a bit of a run along the rails clearly not fit enough here. We think he will be over the odds next start.
Brisbane Track Good, Sydney Track Soft(5) Good (4) upgrade likely and Melbourne Track Good; Race 7 at Moonee Valley Ken’s Dream($5) is one of those horses that seems to have been around forever. He has a great fresh record and is pretty well weighted in this. Listed races are his optimum level in my opinion so this should suit perfectly, if he is up close and personal at the 400m he just might blow them away. We delivered the Xmas turkey last year with Most Important and we think he can do the same today he just might be the equine equivalent of Santa. GIDDYUP!! Another two quaddies last week ($300, $1500) we are the QUADDIE KINGS, very seldom do we miss out altogether and our last big one was $18,000. Also 17 winners in our top 4 selections(multi runner players) plus exotics, Our Best is having a lull at the minute with plenty of placegetters, Proud Wolf last week at good odds ran second.
