We had mixed results last weekend our best in Brisbane BECKHAM was expected to lead but Double Impact took it up,maybe the 1600m was just a touch too far,Sydney LE ROMAIN ran a cracking race for a great second he is definitely a horse to follow and in Melbourne LAHQA had the gun run looked likely on the corner but didn’t go on with it maybe at the end of his prep and ZAM ZAM had a beautiful run and also looked likely turning for home but wilted to finish a good fourth he will definately improve. On a positive note our best each ways both saluted at good odds Firstly ANTON  EN AVANT  at $15 fixed and $10 tote, he got up in the very last stride  to win by a flared nostril and Secondly PEARLS at $7 had a beautiful run in transit, hit the front over the rise and held on for a very good first up win. Longshots REFUSE TO LOSE and ESCEEBEE both ran well but were not good enough on the day. The quaddies we nearly pulled off two, firstly in Sydney we had the first three legs Tycoon Tara,Winx,Pearls and Haptic in the last leg which was beaten a wart by a very good horse in Southern Legend and in Melbourne we also had the first three legs Bold Sniper, Royal Rapture,Heatherly and Fast Cash in the last which was beaten in a photo by Just Magical. Champion mare WINX returned with a great win in the Warwick Stakes and all you can do is beat the opposition you are opposed to and she does that each and every time and emphatically  at that.
