MR8 H1 WROTE TO ARATAKI($3.70); Group 2 and 3 winning mare and probably better than these under these conditions. Races well fresh and the track and distance are ideal.She likes to settle back but we know she can take it up if she needs to. Good mare big chance.
WROTE TO ARATAKI($); 4th beaten 4.8L, every chance, looked like her condition gave out at the distance no excuse just an observation.
BR8 H11 AFRICAN DAISY($3.90); up in Bris Vegas and looks a huge chance in this field. Nice run first up when just behind the speed, a similar run here from the good gate we would envisage. Does her best racing early in her prep, handles all conditions and the distance is perfect. Great chance to win another.
AFRICAN DAISY($2.20); 2nd/$1.30 place beaten 0.2L, just nutted in a driving finish.
BR9 H9 THE RITZ($8); super run at the Goldie first up and is a pistol second up. He will probably lob mid field here and handles good and soft tracks. The cousre and distance are to his liking we expect him to be chiming in big time at the distance.
THE RITZ($); last beaten 35.6L, jockey eased him right down last 200M. Vet found nothing. We will be classing this as a gallop.
SUMMARY: a plethora of winners in our top 4 again last week for multi runner and exotic players. No joy in Our Best but High Blue Sea is still looking for the way out. We expect better this week. Not a lot to write about his week with a benchmarkathon in every state. We have settled on Caulfield race 9 BM84 over 1100M. A decent field for this level and Midtown Boss($1.85) is the short priced favourite probably on potential. We think Rey Magnerio($7.50) is a huge chance here to turn the tables on Jungle Jim($6) with a nice little 2.5 kilo turnarond. The latter will lead them with Rey Magnerio stalking him and Twin Perfection($19) also right in the mix. Shoshov($34) will improve here 2nd up on speed and a nice weight drop. Rey Magnerio for us to be tackling strongly at the distance. Good benchmark 84 this one. Just want to mention Sandy Prince($3.70) we thought he had a chance in race 10 Caulfield but they have gone with race6 Morphetville. He will be on speed here and super hard to run down. Another super tough day of racing with dual acceptors bobbing up everywhere like Dipsy Doodle($3) entered all over the place, settled on R9 Rosehill. Don’t forget to refresh your site over the afternoon as we do update at times when needed.
