BR5 H1 EF TROOP($5.50) Resuming here. Good record first up. Has had a trial win, which is ideal. Loves the track and distance and is adept in all conditions. The 1.5kg claim is also ideal. From barrier 7 will get back just worse than midfield. There’s plenty of pace outside of him which will be in his favor for running on. Huge chance.
EF TROOP($9); 7th beaten 2.15L, did a great job considering the speed challenge. Kicked away in the straight weakened last 100m. Big follow.
SR6 H10 A VERY FINE RED($7) Ran well first up when 3rd behind Kallos. Has great second up record and loves track and distance. Is adept in all conditions. Drops to 53kgs against the boys here. The extra 100m suits and will be parked just behind midfield. The Chestnut mare will be steaming home.
A VERY FINE RED($6); 2nd/$2.10 place beaten 0.52L, also a big run sat 3 wide entire great effort to finish as close. Big follow also.
SR8 H1 PRINCESS GRACE($3.70) Great run first up in Australia. The extra 100m’s is ideal. From barrier 1 will get to choose her spot here. Nash Rawiller aboard is a bonus. Looks to be classy and if she has come on from that run she will be super hard to beat!
PRINCESS GRACE($4.40); FIRST GIDDYUP!!! once clear inside the distance simply too good.
MR6 H4 DASHING($4) Was great last start off a freshen up of a month. Should of almost won last start after checked at a vital stage. Linda Meech aboard is a huge bonus and will go forward. Likes the distance. If leading at Mornington you are hard to run down and hopefully that’s the case. Great chance.
DASHING($2.80); 2nd/$1.40 place beaten 0.3L, led fought on strongly when challenged.
SUMMARY: An absolute cracking day on the site last week with 20 winners in out top 4 and a host of exotics as well. Tamerlane($6) saluted for us in Our Best and Fetch and Maotai ran well to place for us also. Lets keep the momentum rolling and we think we have found a few that will run well. Lets dive straight into the action with Doomben race 8 The Tails Stakes and we think Sky Man can get the win here off a terrific first up run. Has had a trial in between runs. Is great second up, adept in all conditions and loves the track and distance. Tumbler Ridge has been in great form this prep and ready to win. Unbeaten 4th up and loves the track and distance. Loves soft and good tracks. Drops 2kg also. Will be steaming home from the back. Dune Forty Five has been in outstanding form since returning from a spell. Absolutely bolted in last start. He loves all surfaces. Is stepping up in grade here but his form is too good to ignore and will be steaming home. Staying at the 1600m suits. Santero another who has been in good form. Been really well placed in his races to date. Going through the grades nicely. His toughest test to date but deserves his chance at black type here. Off to Melbourne now for the Mornington Cup and we think Vow And Declare can get the win here. Was left flat footed in the Tancred Stakes but picked up then had to duck back into the inside probably should of run into the placings. Should be right on speed here from barrier 8 is adept in all conditions, stays at the 2400m’s Will be hard to run down. Nonconformist won well at Flemington first up over 1600m. He doesn’t do anything second up from a spell and ran accordingly, 3rd up his record is 3 wins from 5 starts. And stepping out to the 2400m is ideal. He will need a nice even tempo to show his impressive turn of hoof. But if its slow he will need to take off early and sustain a long run but has the stamina. Right You Are suffered his first defeat last start against a very talented horse in White Marlin. Back to a drier surface suits also, out tothe 2400m for the first time but confident he can run it out. Hezashocka only three lengths off Dubai Honour last start so ran well. Dropping back in grade is ideal. Is good 4th up should sit back and be running strongly! A bit of a wild and woolly day on the Coast today. The Brisbane Carnival is ramping up big time with some nice fields today. Off to a mates Bucks party today at the Gold Coast Turf Club. Should be a cracking day that’s for sure.
