SR6 H2 ELLSBERG($4.40); Randwick has deteriorated into a sludgefest the price now will be very short. Best served when right on the speed and certainly doesn’t mind the conditions. A pistol first up and track and distance ideal. Might be odds on by jump time.

ELLSBERG($2.60); FIRST GIDDYUP!!! straight to the front game over, odds a bonus really considering.

MR4 H2 BONS A PEARLER($17); this filly is probably over the odds here as she is a Group2 winner. Her first up runs are just that but she was held up last start and would have finished closer. She likes to drift to mid field and get home hard. Ran in the Group 1 Thousand Guineas last prep and endured a torrid run 4 wide no cover. Track and distance suits and certainly can perform 2nd up. She will be coming hard.

BONS A PEARLER($20); 5th beaten 4.25L, “next time for this bloke” interrupted run until the 200m.

MR6 H1 I’M THUNDERSTRUCK($4); decent run first up in an on pace dominated race, it was obvious a long way from home the backmarkers weren’t going to figure, he ran home nicely. Second up here is not an issue he should be midfield again and he certainly relishes the track. Top class and he will be fighting out the finish.

I’M THUNDERSTRUCK($5.50); 5th beaten 2.95L, we have gone one run too early with this horse, just a fitness run in the end as no where to go straight.

SUMMARY: a cracking day on the sight last week and Our Best followers should have had a big day with Blackjack Boom($8) and Expat($3) both saluting and our other 2 runners placing so Happy Days!!! Brisbane is off today due to crazy weather and Sydney is a very heavy track Caulfield dry with some super racing going on there. Blue Diamond for 2 year olds we originally had Lofty Strike our top but he is out and we think Daumier($15) is great odds here and is drawn to get the perfect run just behind the speed the 1200m will suit if she gets to front at the distance hard to hold out. Counttheheadlights($19) great price as well he surprised by being mid field last start but got home nicely and he can lead. Jacquinot($4) missed the kick and then held up in the straight last start Revolutionary Miss($4.80) will also be getting home. Seven Sisters($31). could be the blowout here a very nice run indeed last start getting home nicely. Group 1 Oakleigh Plate and Away Game($8.50) this mare has always raced in very good company and we think she is very well in here with 52kegs loves the distance and Linda Meech will have her chiming in at the right time. Peter Moody obviously thought Oxley Road($15) would win last start good horse definite chance here. Marabi($2.90) will lead and be hard to run down and we can’t discount Wild Ruler($8.50) he will be there at the finish. Away Game for us. Great racing in Sydney as well on a muddy track so lets just enjoy the great racing and back plenty of winners. Just like to mention Yonkers($7) he will improve big time in this race today. Great 5oth last week plenty of imbibing and just a great day.
