Massive fields are the norm again today along with a plethora of dual acceptors and triple acceptors on wet tracks. Two Group1’s in Bris Vegas and the Kingsford Smith over 1200m is a beauty Private Eye($7.50) is a very good horse fresh and has drawn ideally in 2 to be on pace. Handles all conditions easily and the distance is 14)perfect. Hopefully Nash is on song and have him motoring at the distance. Splash Back($14) good win last start when she came from back in the field. Third up now and will be super fit, she likes all conditions too and the distance. Fit in form mare with a good record she will be getting home hard late. Fangirl($8) top shelf this mare and could just blow them away 2nd up. Soft is as wet as she wants and she will relish this distance 2nd up. JMAC will have her firing up at the top of the straight. Jimmystar($5) loves this distance and Soft conditions he tends to settle midfield and get home down the middle. Always a chance. Desert Lightning($27) huge win last start in the Goodwood G1 fought hard to the line to just prevail.He might sit a little closer here from gate 7. Tough race with plenty of other chances obviously but we are happy with our 5. The Derby over 2400m G1 we like Solid Gold($5) got home nicely last start in a leader orientated race. The 2400m will suit her. Monopolistic($5.50) nice win at Gosford albeit in BM78 grade we think he is a good stayer. The rest are a lottery. We are thinking about a change after the winter carnival but we will run it by all members to see responses. Pretty good drying wind for Bris Vegas tonight so we will be mindful of changing conditions. We are going pretty well in Brisbane lately our home state.
