SUMMARY: Our Best today are *** SR3 H12 Disneck($3.30) dry only 3rd/$1.50 place, MR4 H6 Tiger Shark($7) FIRST and BR9 H2 Maximum Output($14) FIRST GIDDYUP!!! . Another top day last week with plenty of results for all players especially Flemington and Bris Vegas. Our Best had 2 placings and Kerguelen was a tad unlucky for his 3rd. Plenty of carnival action today down south. Racing today at the Gold Coast and an average meeting on a soft track. Group racing at both venues with Caulfield having 2 Group 1’s with the Underwood WFA the big one. Buckaroo($5) is a quality galloper and certainly relishes this circuit and distance. He is a pistol 2nd up and although he drifts well back he finishes like a rate of knots. Sir Delius($2.40) this bloke might just be the star of the spring. He will sit just off the pace here and as last start might take a while to wind up. Moira($6) this mare is 3rd up and her last run was a beauty. Behind the speed here and she does enjoy this distance. If she gets a break on them at the distance tough to run down. Zardozi($13) good mare cups bound but just might zip home in 4th for 1st4’s. Desert Lightning($9.50) is in his best form this time in. Miss Roumbini($13) and Angel Capital($3.60) might just fight out the Sir Rupert G1. Both are nicely weighted. Some nice value in our 3 Best for the day. Rain is forecast here on the Goldie so that will make that meeting even trickier. Great action though down south with a plethora of Group races bring it on.
