Valfierno;(0.2L) 2nd ($4.40-$2.40); beautiful run in 3rd on the fence behind leader Baker’s Boy, nowhere to go at the distance, drove through late to just miss. (replay)
Don’t Tell Mama;(2.2L) 4th ($11-$6.50); got a mile out of her ground, made ground steadily through the middle, you definitely had to be on the speed at Doomben.
SR4 H1 Sovereignaire, SR8 H3 Supply And Demand
Sovereignaire;(2.2L) 2nd($15-$13); this horse was last on the corner, was the widest runner down the straight, kept coming for a good second, he ran his best.
Supply And Demand;(0.5L) 2nd($10-$6.50); a great run under his 60.5kgs first up, his stablemate took it up and he was back in about tenth spot, kept coming down the straight to go down by half a length. His 9kgs difference told in the end (weight will tell in most cases regardless of the general consensus today) A SUPER RUN.
A super day for Horsebuck$ followers with 22 winners in our top four with PLENTY of value to be had Blondie($21), Fickle Folly($13), Hi I’m Back ($12 on top). Eptimum($11), Who Shot Thebarman($9 on top), Gun Case ($9) & Adoradancer ($7 on top) to name a few. Fourteen quinellas/exactas, seven trifectas and a first four, the best trifectas were $758, $418,$388 & $234 and first four MR6 $925. Three seconds in our best bets so not a bad result there, we will be striving to go one better next week. The mighty mare WINX proved unequivocally that she is a CHAMPION and sits right up there in the pecking order of champions past. Derby Day next week at Flemington and we will endeavour to bring some insane results again or even better. On that note have a great week and ” GOOD LUCK” to all. Horsebuck$
Doomben Track Soft; Randwick Track Soft; Moonee Valley Track Good; Our Best; Doomben race 2 Valfierno($4.40); we had this horse on top last week in the heavy conditions he is just as adept on a good track, he should get a beautiful run behind Bonsho from gate 1 and we expect R. Fradd to get him home. Doomben race 8 Don‘t Tell Mama($11) this mare is a pistol first up that has a liking for this circuit, she does tend to settle back in her races but from the good draw we don’t envisage her to be too far off them on straightening. There is enough pace in the race to allow her to travel into the race nicely, a serious contender. Randwick race 4 Sovereignaire($15) Highways are not the ideal races to be a best each way, but he has conditions(soft) to suit today. He has been racing well in town without winning and not finishing too far from the winners. He is a horse that likes to settle just behind the speed(blocked for a run last start) Schofield knows him well he will be there when the whips are cracking.Randwick race 8 Supply And Demand($10) this horse has 60.5kgs but he will be ready to rumble first up, his form before a spell was exemplary and he has the Waterhouse bone and muscle and loves the give in the ground, super chance. In Her Time nearly delivered for us last night if Brown could have got her off the fence earlier she would have won, we did have Hey Doc($21) in our four and for those that like to play the odds with our top four, they would have had an outstanding result. Also we had the quinella/exacta paying $39.20/$88.30 so a good result all round. This is why we are always looking for the horses in our top four that are value for our top four players.
