BR1 H2 CORMAC T($3.90) Great win last start holding them all at bay. The drop back to the 2200m won’t be an issue. A nice small field so from barrier 10 should be able to find a nice spot just behind the leader. Great chance to get another win here.

BR10 H1 ADDRIEL($2.90) Ran well over the 1400m last start. I like the fact he’s had that run over 1400m but his best distance is 1200m which he returns to today. Likes the track and is adept in all conditions. From barrier 3 should be able to pick his spot from there. Will be steaming home.

SR8 H7 SO RISQUE($7) We are forgiving his first up run when it was playing more fair to the back makers. Should be going to the front from barrier 10. Loves the 1400m and is brilliant 2nd up. If the track is even he’ll be hard to catch .

MR9 H1 SMOKIN ROMANS($3) Last two runs have been outstanding the bog track last start is the only thing that beat him. Loves the track and the distance. He does his best racing on dry ground which he gets today. Stating the obvious here but loves to lead and would assume no different today. If they let him slip away before the turn he’ll be hard to catch.

SUMMARY: A cracking day last week on a super tough day with Dragoon saluting in Our Best and Ocean Zar was a late scr. so next time for him on dry ground.( ran 3rd Goldie last night $2.60 place) Let’s dive straight into the Supernova MR8 and we think Here To Shock($5.50) can win here. Had excuses last start with a cardia Arrhythmia so forgive there. Dropping back to the 1400m is ideal. Drops 4kgs also from last run. Has won a Flemington jumpout since that run. Huge chance. Welwal($11) huge win first up when steaming home late. Stays at the 1400m which is ideal and the pace should be on again so expecting another strong run from the back and holds his form 2nd up. Chorlton Lane($16) was a good win at Canberra last start. With the pace on he should be able to drift back to a nice spot just behind midfield. 1400m is his go and dry ground also. With a bit of luck will be hitting the line hard. Arkansaw Kid($7.50) it was his chance to finally win one at 1400m last start but got run down late again. Will get another beaut ride from Shinn here. Thinking 1400m is a bridge too far but will get his chance. Another year has past here at Horsebuck$ and it has been a cracker. We have had a successful season with plenty of winners in the major races. We are hoping to send you all out with plenty of cash for Chrissy and the New Year. We will be on a well-deserved 2 week break from next week onwards returning on the 11th of January just in time for Magic Millions.
