BR9 H4 GOLDEN BOOM($4.40); this horse always gives his best. Best suited right in the speed and races best fresh. Track and distance ideal and he handles all conditions. Love to see him zoom along in front. Multiple listed winner he will give them something to run down.

MR8 H1 ARRAN BAY($7) great win last start Cup day when on speed. He has won here and this distance should be perfect now as he is very fit. Gate 13 can be a little iffy as he does like to power forward. Nolen back on again will use it to his advantage and if he gets away from them turning he will take a lot of running down.

SR10 H10 ANG POW($15); great value here in our opinion. He certainly relishes this circuit and starting this campaign at the 1300m a plus. He tends to race closer to the speed this track so gate 1 a bonus. Handles all conditions as well up a tad in BM class but the 54.5kgs will offset that. He will be there when the whips are cracking.

SUMMARY: massive day last week for everyone with 2 of Our Best saluting namely Rey Magnerio($4.40) and Betcha The Crown ($3.30) GIDDYUP!! Mr. Brightside($5) succesful in the G1 to round out a massisve carnival for our members. Group1 Rupert Clarke at Caulfield is probably just below the top tier. So having said that Southport Tycoon($10) is a multiple G1 winner and his last start in the Golden Eagle was very good. He got a mile back and ran home strongly to be beaten 3L. He will zip home here from a closer possie this time. Bitter Creek($41) this 3 year olpd has alwas raced in the a grade races and acquitted himself very well. He got a long way back in the Coolmore G1 after missing the kick. He will settle around midfield here and with a little luck with 50kegs be in the finish. Jimmystar($3.10) is in super form and he loves the track and distanc. He will probably drop anchor midfield from his gate(1) and be primed as they swing. Another Wil ($3.20) likes to sit on the speed and always puts himself in the frame. Tuvalu($19) classy on pace fresh horse who is always a chance. Southport Tycoon just might round up his stablemates late. Remember these staying races in the 3 states are usually loaded up from the big stables which makes them a tough betting prospects.
