BR6 H3 TROIKA($10) Nice on paced win last start. Has barrier 1 again which is a huge bonus. Emily Lang aboard with 2 kilo claim is ideal. Loves the distance and loves a good track. Will be in it for a long way.
TROIKA($4.60); 5th beaten 1.43L, good ride every possible chance on speed.
BR8 H2 BETTCHA THE CROWN($4) Nice solid win from midfield last start. Has barrier 1 but will drift back and possie up nicely midfield. Good track suits and loves the track. Unbeaten 3rd up and will be steaming home again.
BETCHA THE CROWN($3,30); FIRST GIDDYUP!!! another good ride on speed proved too strong.
MR4 H4 REY MAGNERIO($3.70) Drove hard late last start to just miss. Will get a nice tempo to suit once again. Loves the track and distance. The outside barrier is going to be ideal down the straight they have been winning out there and up the middle of late. Will be steaming home and gets its chance to win again.
REY MAGNERIO($4.20); FIRST GIDDYUP!!! looked beaten at the 100m but fought back strongly to prevail.
MR6 H1 GIGA KICK($4.80) What a bloody run that was in the Everest to just miss. Glad to see him back at Flemington where he excels. Loves the distance. Plenty of pace in this sprint race which will be more to his liking. The whips will be cracking at the 100m’s.
GIGA KICK($5); 7th beaten 2.37L, got back then held up for 200m but didn’t finish off like he can.
SUMMARY: Another outstanding day last week with plenty of winners and exotics and summary on point again. Lets dive straight into it and talk about the R7 The Champions Mile and Mr Brightside($6) looks hard to beat here. His run in the Cox Plate was insane. Back to Flemington and back to the Mile is ideal. From barrier 4 will be just behind the leading bunch. He will be charging hard and this race is perfect for him. Broadsiding($6.50) another terrific run in Cox Plate at his first 2000m start. Back to the 1600m is ideal and the big track of Flemington will suit big time even from barrier 13. Pace will be genuine and should get a nice run in transit. Top class Colt. Antino($7.20) was a huge win in the Toorak last start. The way Shinn rode it last start is exactly how to ride this galloper. He has great stamina and making him sit and sprint isn’t his cup of tea. Will get back from barrier 12 but will be on his merry way at the 600m to make it a true 1600m race. Fangirl($6.30) has been in great form this prep just think the tempo didn’t suit latest and was wide throughout as well which didn’t help. We are thinking that the pace will be strong again but Pride Of Jenni is racing flat so should come back to field just before the top of the straight. With J Mac onboard should get the right run and be there when the whips are cracking. An absolute rip snorter of a race lol. What a cracking days racing we have on offer at Flemington the best of the best are racing and it will be a sight to behold and a great way to wrap up a successful carnival.
