BR7 H12 CATWALK CRIMINAL($7.50) Loved his win last start when leading all the way. James Orman aboard is a huge bonus. From barrier 8 should be able to cross and get into a nice spot just in behind the leading duo. Loves the distance, and we think Eagle Farm will suit. Huge Chance. 

CATWALK CRIMINAL($7.50); 6th beaten 4.9L, had a nice trail behind the speed but only battled to the line.

BR10 H1 YELLOW BRICK($3) Great run first up when only just missing in the Weetwood. Step out to the 1400m second up is ideal. Loves the track and is adept in all conditions. A lot of speed drawn inside of him so we are thinking he might be able to take a sit just behind the leaders and from a strong tempo should be able to finish over the top of them hopefully. 

YELLOW BRICK($2.70); FIRST GIDDYUP!!! the big fella was travelling coming to the corner when let down in the straight powered away. Top shelf.

MR4 H3 SEE YOU IN HEAVEN($5.50) Great first up win, always a bit flat second up. Great run third up and should be at peak for this race fourth up stepping out to the 1600m’s. From barrier 8 should be able to get in one out one back just off midfield here. Likes the distance and the track. He meets Grinzinger Belle a kilo better at the weights also. Likes the dry. He will be steaming home. 

SEE YOU IN HEAVEN($6); 3rd/$2.10 place beaten 1.9L, nice run behind the speed also and battled on. Next time?

SUMMARY: Cracking day all round last week with Bubba’s Bay flying the flag for Our Best. Let’s dive straight into the action and Mayfair($7.50) we feel can upset the fav in the Guineas. His run 2nd up was great only beaten 0.4L behind Broadsiding after making the speed. He might take the sit behind the stablemate here or just simply take it up again. Stepping out to the 1600m for the first time but we think it will suit. Gai And Bott polish might see him winning this. Broadsiding($1.55) great first up win. Steps out the 1600m’s (unbeaten) but is vulnerable second up. Is a class horse who’s on his way to a Cox Plate. Angel Capital($7.50) has been in fine form this prep. His win off a hot tempo first up was great. I thought the win second up was even better. Was held up from the turn to the 350m mark then had to go back to the inferior ground on the inside and still held them off out wide. It was a smart win and the 1600m will be ideal. Evaporate($13) has been in insane form. 2 from 2 now at the 1600m’s. Is overs and deserves his shot at a Group 1 and Micheal Dee aboard is a huge bonus. Just like to mention Coleman($3.50) has been running well in much stronger company then his 2 runs back from a spell. Should find the drop in class to his liking. Nice speed in this race so should get tempo to suit and be steaming home here. From today till the end of the Melbourne cup Carnival is the best racing on earth hands down. It gets the juices flowing and with weather like this it definitely gets you pumped up big time. Off to the Goldy Races today with a couple of mates. Should be a cracker.
