BR4 H4 CORFE CASTLE($7); third up here and a top run last start coming from midfield. Drawn perfectly here as he generally races roght on the speed 3rd up. Track and distance ideal and he can handle soft conditions. Nice chance.

CORFE CASTLE($6.50); 5th beaten 2.4L, nice run behind the speed only plugged home.

SR10 H3 PANIC($4.80); probably sit just off them here first up from 13. He is a pistol first up and is a listed winner. A winner over this course and was an impressive trial winner. Hopefully JMAC is winding him up big time at the distance.

PANIC($4.40); 5th beaten 2.5L, got further back than anticipated but finished off strongly. Soon.

SUMMARY: pretty good day last week with 3 placings in Our Best and plenty of action for all other players. Finding best bets these days is like looking for a needle in a haystack but the search will continue (: The Group1 Winx is on today and what a cracking field it is. Twelve starters ten chances. We found it difficult to split Tropical Squall($10) and Riff Rocket($7). Tropical Squall is an absolute pistolero first up and she certainly likes to take it up. Track and distance no problems and handles all conditions. Two time Group1 winner also, hard to run down fresh. Riff Rocket might just be the star galloper this spring. He can win fresh coming over the top of them. Track distance and all conditions suit. Melbourne might be his oyster this year. Fangirl($2.40) she absolutely loves this course and soft tracks. She will get back but has a powerful finishing burst when on. Always a chance. Zougotcha($8) another Waller runner that has an outstanding record also. She will probably possie up behind the leader here and the wetter the better for her, Can win. Semana($13) another quality mare that raced in Bris Vegas and is third up here. She will sit mid field and has conditiions to suit. As we said a quality race even with Chris Waller making up half the field. Doomben today and race 8 Manhood($4.20) might spring back into the winning list today after a long drought. He is 3rd up and racing well. Should get a nice trail here his only danger might be his 60kegs. Absolute pearler of a day here on the Goldie and only 2 in Our Best hopefully we can add something to the coffers.
