MR3 H12 GIVE GIGGLES($3.80); forget her last start down the Flemington straight. She flies at this circuit and from gate 1 would expect her (in the real world) to lead them. Handles all conditions and the distance is ideal.

GIVE GIGGLES($3.40); FIRST GIDDYUP!!! sat off the leader then pounced in the straight bolted in.

BR6 H2 SHOOTING FOR GOLD($4.80); good galloper with two great runs after a spell at the Sunnie Coast. Certainly relishes this track and would really like to see him a tad closer to the speed here from the good gate. The right distance and third up here very fit. A good field but he can get it done.

SHOOTING FOR GOLD($4.60); 3rd/$1.90 place beaten 1.4L, ran on strongly late next start for him.

BR9 H1 GO WANDJI($5.50); like this horse and second up today after a great run first up. He ticks a few boxes here track and distance, all conditions and he is a pistolero fresh. He tends to drift back and has a good horses weight in 60.5kgs but he might just be too good.

GO WANDJI($8): 2nd/$2.80 place beaten 0.7L, 2 starts after break no luck either. Top jock next start and steaming down the middle of the track.

MR9 H3 TAUNTING($3.70); been in super form and he certainly likes to roll forward. He loves this distance and fingers crossed the rain stays as he certainly relishes soft conditons. He will be super fit here and he could have one more win in him this prep.

TAUNTING($2.70); FIRST GIDDYUP!!!

SUMMARY: King Magnus($6.30) got the job done for Our Best last week, we have 3 weeks to fill the Xmas coffers (: This week the Ballarat Cup is the main race and Just Folk($8) was a good winner last week and might just do the same today. The light rain falling there certainly enhances his chances. He will be on speed surely an might just skip clear on the corner. Red Sun Sensation($6.50) will prop right behind the speed here and has been racing consistently without winning. Has a bit in his favour today conditions and the distance. Foxy Cleopatra($5.50) also racing extremely well and has a little bit of class. She will probably settle mid field and the distance no issue. We expect her to be sizzling home. Young Werther($5.50) has been in great form this prep hence the 60kgs. He likes the distance but the drier the better for him, not sure in the run here. Ain’tnodeelindun($7.50) in crazy form and the distance is perfect. Settle just off the speed he probably prefers dry as well. Zaaki($2.70) is racing at Ascot in the Northerly G1 over his pet distance 1800M. The old horse will be tough to hold out. Might have a small play each way on Dom To Shoot($17) though been racing well 2 starts after a spell. He can get right up on the speed and is certainly up to a race of this ilk. Found out that Blake Macdougall’s number 1 fan (you know who you are) has been loading up on another hoop in South Oz when the chips are down with nice results.He was in Bris Vegas last week and the place will never be the same. (: We will be mindful of the weather in Sydney as it is going to be extremely hot and the rain at Ballarat. We do update on site when things change. No huge odds in Our Best this week but we fancy our chances there.
