MR7 H3 DO YA PUNK($6); we thought this horse could win last week but was scratched. He can settle anywhere in the run and 2nd up no problems. Handles all conditions but some moisture woudn’t hurt. Has had one run here but it was late in his prep definitely better fresh. He should be fighting out the finish.
DO YA PUNK($6.50); last beaten 8.35L, got well back and never in it. Poor run.
MR9 H6 LADY OF HONOUR($8); good run 2nd up behind Cardinal Gem although beaten 2.25l. She sat just behind the speed and meets that horse 3.5kgs better here. We expect her to be right on the speed again today. She handles all conditions and the distance ideal. Top chance.
LADY OF HONOUR($4.20); 4th beaten 1.4L, beaut run just behind the leader every chance.
SUMMARY: Princess Grace($4.40) saluted for Our Best last week along a couple of placegetters so great result there with plenty of action for multi runner and exotic players as well. We are heading to Eagle Farm today and the Group2 Victory Stakes WFA and Rothfire($6) could even lead his stablemate this time considering a 5.5keg swing here. Fresh is best for this genuine Group sprinter and if he does lead might be game over. Private Eye($2.35) top horse but will get back and be steaming home late. A Case Of You($8.50) great run in the William Reid G1 when held up, he will be getting home hard. Prince Of Boom($7.50) brilliant winner first up when led all the way back to WFA here hence the weight swing, but he will be there when the whips are cracking. Nice race to really kick the winter carnival into gear with 8 realistic chances. The Queensland Guineas G2 for 3 year olds and Waitak($13) the Kiwi galloper probably should have landed the prize last start when afforded no room entire straight. Very fit and is placed multiple times in Group class in N.Z. The Fortune Teller($5) drawn to get a great run on speed distance suits. Kovalica($2.25) probably get back and get home hard very consistent. The Vowels($6.50) how good is this horse going and he can idle up anywhere in the field he might drift back from gate 16 but we know he can get home. Huge fields are the norm these days probably due to prizemoney being paid to 10th place. Only 2 in Our Best this week on another tough day.
