BR7 H10 DELYTH($4.50) Ran super last start. Only beaten 1.7L. Is unbeaten 3rd and staying at the 1200m is ideal. Loves the track and will most likely go forward from the gate. He ticks a lot of boxes here and can win here.
DELYTH($5.50); 3rd/$1.80 place beaten 2.23L, worked 3 wide early to get to the lead then sped out to a good lead. Battled on okay from the distance.
MR6 H4 BANK MAUR($5) Great run first up when only beaten a pimple by an outstanding colt in Jaquinot. Second up today and stepping out to the 1400m is ideal. Loves dry ground and only beaten 1.5lengths in a group 1 last prep. Has the form and talent to win here. Great Chance.
BANK MAUR($3.80); 7th beaten 1.55L, settled midfield and seemed to travelling well enough. Was looming at the distance then his run seemed to peter ou. Still battled away strongly enough to suggest next time for him.
MR8 H3 SCALLOPINI($7.50) Ran well first up at the Gold Coast in open company. Loves the track and distance and is great 2nd up. Stepping out to the 1400m is ideal. Will most likely sit behind the speed here with good gate speed. D Lane aboard is a huge bonus and have no doubt off a good run will be chiming in at the distance.
SCALLOPINI($6.50); FIRST GIDDYUP!!! came across from out wide to get the lead easy enough then ran sub 12sec splits to get away in the straight very strong to the line.
MR9 H3 JUNGLE JIM($3.60) Absolutely bolted in at Sale last start. Sticks to the 1200m and loves the track. Will be leading from the good gate(5). Drops a kilo leading into this. Is building a great record and when they hit the course proper he will be hard to run down.
JUNGLE JIM($); 12th beaten 9.7L, shared the lead until the 300m when seemingly travelling well enough. Gave in like a pricked balloon from then on. Seriously disappointing.
BESTEACHWAY
SR5 H3 WILLINGA RUFIO($9-$5.50) The money has come early for this galloper, our original thought was we couldn’t believe the price of this galloper. Insane first up record and loves the track. Has had two trials and getting better with each one. Will run just behind the speed here and with the pace on will be steaming home at a rate of knots !!
WILLINGA RUFIO($7); 7th beaten 5.56L, sat outside the leader was as flat as a strap as soon as they eneterd the straight. Did nothing.
SUMMARY: Cracking day all round last week. Our Best kept rolling with another win in Here To Shock getting the cash at 6 bucks. Lets keep the momentum going this week with some cracking racing about. Lets dive into it and go straight to The Hobartville(R8) and we think Pier($12) can win here. Good form in New Zealand and when first up was super unlucky and probably should of won being held up the entire straight. Has won a group 1 and the 1400m suits second up here. Aft Cabin($1.50) won impressively first up of spell. Stepping out the 1400m is ideal and from barrier 11 will go forward but will have to jump well. Great form lines and is a colt on the rise. Communist($19) ran well in the Eskimo Prince Stakes. Gets the winkers back on which is good for him focusing on the race. Is good second up and the distance suits. Will be midfield but from a better gate will have a better run in transit and should be finishing off strongly. Forget Osipenko($7) went around first up crowded at the start and then was wide the entire trip. I would imagine from barrier 1 it will sit closer in running here being second over the 1400m. Will run well and is group 1 placed. Off to the Lightning Stakes(R7) and we think Coolangatta($7) might get the win over the Champ. Her jumpouts have been great and is likely looking for a first up win. Nature Strip($2.15) is an absolute Champion and a win would not surprise. He’s a freak but might have some bigger things in mind this prep. Buenos Nachos($13) is a first up specialist and has an electric turn of hoof. Will get back and will be steaming home. Has had two good trials leading into this. I Wish I Win($12) had a cracking last prep. Returns here, first up over the 1000m might be a touch short of his best distance but can run into the placings. Follow from what ever he does off this run. Marabi($9.50) returns here as well and her record speaks for itself. Never run over the 1000m but will suit her high cruising speed and she likes to lead so another thing in her favor but might not lead the champ. Will be there for a long way. R5 The Frances Tressady Stakes and we think Excelida($8.50) can get the win here. Ran on well first up off a spell. Is an absolute pistol 2nd up off a spell and loves the track and distance and the good track suits. The extra 100m suits. Wrote to Arataki($5) has been in impressive form winning two in a row and the Group 3 Geoffery Bellmaine Stakes last start. Is a super fit and is a mare in form. Might just lead them again here and they will want to be challenging at the 200m otherwise it might be all over. Annavisto($2) had one run in Brisbane last prep and didn’t fire. Is good first up and loves the track and distance. Will go foward from the gate and J Kah aboard is a bonus. Niffler($18) was ridden upside down last start and it proved costly but stuck on well considering how much work she did in the running. Dropping back to the 1400m is ideal. From barrier 10 should be back midfield with plenty of cover and will relish the big track of Flemington. J Mac aboard is a bonus. Just like to mention Rock Amore($2.70) in Brisbane race 3 raced over the 1500m last start might be a touch far. Drops back to the 1400m, loves the track and distance. Can win. An absolute cracking days racing today in all states. We are super pumped and ready to rumble.
