BR8 H2 HOLYFIELD($2.20) Great win first up. Even better 2nd up. Loves the track and distance and from barrier 7 will get a beaut run in behind the speed. Should be tough to beat.
HOLYFIELD($1.90); 2nd/$1.30 place beaten 0.1L, had a great run behind the leader loomed large at the distance. Maybe peaked slightly 2nd up.
SR5 H7 PERINWAY($5) Back from a spell. Is great first up and has had 2 trials ready for this. Loves the track and distance. Has good gate speed so from barrier 12 should be up around midfield. Handles all conditions and with J Mac aboard is a huge bonus.
PER INAWAY($); 7th beaten 3.69L, a long way back and was struggling until the last 50m ran home well. Nice fitness run
SR9 H6 NAJMATY($6.50) Has had 3 trials leading up to this first up task. Is great first up. Loves the distance and from barrier 10 she will get back but she will be steaming home. Good track is her go. We are expecting her to be in the finish with 54.5kg’s.
NAJMATY($6); 8th beaten 2.5L, missed the start badly, overraced early getting home in the end. Forget she went to the races.
MR9 H3 MYWHISPER($6.50) Won well in the Tesio Stakes 2 back. Then was wide the whole trip in the Group 1 Empire Rose last start only beaten 3.1L. Drops back to Group 3 level and back to a good track also. From barrier 6 she should get cover and be midfield. Huge chance back in grade here.
MY WHISPER($6.60); FIRST GIDDYUP!!! mid field one off the fence on the move as they turned got to the front inside the distance fought on.
BESTEACHWAY
SR7 H1 DR DRILL($18) Has never been a factor two runs in from a spell. Been way to far back in both. Never really does anything 1st and 2nd up but third up he really hits his straps. He can sit closer in his runs and from barrier 2 we are sure that will be the case. He will get a good run just behind the speed. Loves the track and distance and the good track suits. Huge chance and a great Eachway price. Giddyup.
Dr. Drill($18 – $8.50); 2nd/$2.80 place beaten 0.29L, thought this was a super ride by Avadulla was counting the cash at the distance when he was swooping. Bloused by “you guessed it” a Chris Waller bolter(:
Cracking day last week when Astero got the cash in OUR BEST and Detonator Jack only to go down by a flared nostril. Lets hope we can keep that winning streak going in that department today. Lets go straight to the Goldy race 7 the Tatts Classic F&M Plate and we think Me Me Lagrade($7.50) can take the prize here. Was held up most of the time last start and could never get a crack at them. Is super fit and dropping back to the 1200m is ideal. Is good third and good track suits. Should be midfield from barrier 5 and be steaming home. Kisukano($15) another that was unlucky last start was up midfield and was checked and got dragged back. Third up today and the track and distance suits. From barrier should be out of trouble there. Will be steaming home with pace on. Coco Rox($4.80) went a bit too hard last start in front but fought on gamely. From barrier 2 should be leading from there. If he settles in his run he will be hard to run down. Final 100m might find him out? Salateen($8.50) ran well first up when well back and running home nicely. Is good second up and likes the track and distance. From barrier 13 will get back but will be running on. Canadian Dancer($10) can run a good race first up. Has had two trails. His only fail at the track was when he was caught wide so forgive that. Will be midfield from barrier 7. Should be in the finish. Off to Melbourne for the Sandown Guineas and we think See You In Heaven($4) can get the prize here. Was unlucky last start when nothing went right at crucial stages. The step out to the 1600m is ideal. From barrier 13 will get back but will be working into around the turn and be steaming home. The Fortune Teller($3.90) was only beaten 1.3 in the Guineas 2 back and was good in defeat last start from too far back. Will get back from barrier 10 but might be just behind midfield here and be charging late! Holymanz($9.50) huge win maiden class 2 back. Then was solid in class 1 grade last start. Is defiantly looking for the 1600m and looks to have upside. Will be up on speed here form barrier 5 and should be fighting out the finish. Dream Hour($26) was good last start over the 1800m. Doesn’t seem like a staying horse which we found weird two back when raced over the 2200m. Steps back another 200m today to the 1600m which is ideal. I can see him running a great race at nice eachway odds. The Winterbottom Stakes at Ascot and we think Elite Street($6.50) can get the prize here. His first up run from a spell was fantastic. He loves the track and distance and second is ideal. The Unbeaten My Belle Mae($13) deserves her crack here. Absolutely bolted in last start. Have no doubt she will be in the finish. Rothfire($5.50) ran well in the Champions sprint last start. Loves the distance and will be just behind the leader from barrier 3 and will be super tough to run down. Miss Conteki’s($12) run last start was a cracker. Will get back from barrier 13 but the pace will be on, look for her late! Cracking race. An absolute ripsnorter of a day here on the Goldy plenty of action to be had!!
