MR3 H3 NANAGUI($7); this filly has come back in super form winning 2 from 2. She has always run well and although placed 2 from 2 at the 1200m the way she is racing this time in 1200m should be ideal here 3rd up. One run at Caulfield for a good 2nd and a tad unlucky. Decent gate in 6 and can be a little closer in the run, either way we envisage her steaming over the top of them again. 

NANAGUI($6.50); 13th beaten 6.15L, saddle slipped and surcingle pinching. Don’t drop off her next start.

BR8 H1 HASABRO($7); two good runs this time in and just touched out last start. The 1400m is ideal 3rd up and he should settle just back off the pace again. He handles all conditions and we think he is in here quite nicely for a Group3 winner. In front at the distance super tough to hold out.

HASABRO($4.60); 8th beaten 1.97L, missed the start got back , every chance in the straight though.

SR6 H2 BASQUIAT($9.50); got a mile back last start and better served up behind the speed. Definitely a better horse in super wet conditions. Distance not an issue expect him to be fighting out the finish in a sludgefest.

BASQUIAT($11); 5th beaten 8.32L, forget most went around at Randwick Saturday.

SR7 H3 WILLIAMSBURG($3.20); if they race at Randwick this bloke will get conditions to suit as he is an absolute swimmer. The 1800m is probably perfect for him at this stage. He relishes the track and we know he will get back but will get through the mire better than anything else. 

RACE ABANDONED TO BE RUN WEDNESDAY 12/10/22

SUMMARY: Action aplenty last week with 2 winners in Our Best and we kept the momentum going in the Group 1’s along with a swag of winners in our top 4’s for the multi runner and exotic players so high fives all round and happy days!! Today will be a minefield at Randwick as the track just might be bottomless. Caulfield is a crackerjack race meeting with the best of the best stepping out. Ten race programme at Eagle Farm just to add to the equation but that won’t stop us here at Horsebuck$. Caulfield Guineas G1(SW)and Berkeley Square ($4.50) is racing in super form and loves soft conditions. Williams will have him stalking them at the distance. Amenable ($15) he will need a great ride from Ollie from the gate (14) and if he gets it watch out the last 50m. Tijuana ($7.50) this bloke might just rock forward here and take it up hard to run down from there. Golden Mile ($2.90) will sit just off the pace not totally convinced about him IMO. Bank Maur ($20) need a good ride from gate 17 might be getting home late. Toorak handicap Group 1 I Wish I win ($2.35) is a short priced favourite will get back and gets home hard but this a totally different ball game. Callsign Mav ($26) is a 4 time Group 1 winner and handles all conditions. He will sit just off them again we will be on him again. Tuvalu ($8.50) has a great draw (1) and will be just behind the speed (and there is plenty of it here) if he gets to the front at distance will be hard toget past. Converge ($31) and Pinstriped ($14) round it out. Fantastic race indeed. Group 1 Might And Power WFA the 6 best WFA horses going around again any of them can win but we are sticking solid to Alligator Blood ($7) to lead all the way again. It will be a classic race at the distance the whips will be cracking. Mentioning Expat ($4.50) SR5 loves 3rd up and swims maybe lead here. No sugar coating today’s proceedings the meetings are super competeive in all states.
