MR5 H7 GALGANI($10); good run last start in open BM64, back to Fillies & Mares grade here and the distance should suit. We expect Ollie to tweak her up just off the pace and be steaming home over the top. 

GALGANI($9); 7th beaten 5.85L, got a mile out of his ground, pulled to the outside just plugged , very disappointing

SR7 H2 ULYSSES($3.90); good win by this horse last start in the same grade and on a soft track definitely better on a good surface. Up 2 kegs here but his racing pattern (leading) should offset that. Dropping back to the 1400m won’t be a problem and they will find it tough to run him down.

ULYSSES($3.70); 2nd/$1.60 place beaten 1.3L, worked a little early to get to the lead but held it comfortably from then on, found winner way too strong. 

MR9 H3 IDIDITFORLOVE($6); we expect this galloper to repeat his last start effort. He is up slightly in grade but has a 3 kilo claim here to bring him into the race nicely. Track and distance no problem and can handle good or soft. Up just behind the speed he will pounce at the distance. OUR BEST.

IDIDITFORLOVE($3.80); sat just behind the speed pounced at the distance proved way too strong. GOUGUDTHING!!!

BR9 H11 ROMAN AUREUS($6.50); good run last start only beaten 2.1L, she has won in this class before and is still weighted well. This is her 4th run in and she will be super fit. This is a decent BM 78 but from her good gate we expect Larry Cassidy to get a nice trail mid field and have a head full of steam at the distance.  GIDDYUP!!!

ROMAN AUREUS($5.70); FIRST, sat midfield until in the straight held up a smidge but surged to the lead at the distance and just held on. 

SUMMARY; some crazy results at the Coast last week but you can’t tip horses on maybe’s,  we have noticed of late some analysts out there saying that ” MAYBE”  this horse is due even though it hasn’t won for 2 years seriously a ridiculous analysis to say the least. We ended up with a pretty good day last week with plenty of winners in our top 4 selections( multi runner players) also some nice exotics best being SR7 F4 $1,612, MR2 F4 $412, BR6 Trifecta $307 and SR7 Trifecta $603 and plenty of Quinella/Exactas. Our Best didn’t fair so well with 2 3rd placings but let’s just say Boomtown Lass with just a touch of luck in the straight would have got the prize and that’s racing. Two horses to definitely follow out of the Gold Coast meeting are Finance Tycoon a huge run in the major 2yo wide entire and did well to finish 6th Golden Slipper maybe? there is that word again(:  Away Game she will be winning a very good 3yo race when she goes back down south. Tough to find a couple of races to talk about today with just average meetings everywhere so let’s have a crack at MR6 not a bad 3yo race and we have gone for Still Be Friends($15) here he gets into the race with a 3 kilo swing in the weights against Milton Park($4.80) likes the distance and he races on the speed good value, Milton Park will run well again with Ollie on he does relish the distance and has won 2nd up. Belle Tiara and Pig In Mud next best. The Carrington stks R8 Randwick I have gone for Gaulois ($9) here in a tough race form wise he has been racing in some nice races up north and ran well hard to beat here. Bandersnatch($2.70) he has to make the grade here from BM races he will run well with Order Again($6.50) for 3rd.
