OUR BEST;

MR7 H7 KING OF HASTINGS($6.50); this horse ticks a lot of boxes here track distance and first up. He handles all conditions and from his good gate(4) SHOULD be right on the speed. His main danger Sansom jumps 5 kegs on his last win so we think this the King will have his measure on the line.

KING OF HASTINGS($6); 6th beaten 2.9L, there if good enough, disappointing actually.

MR8 H6 PANCHO($11); back in form with a good last start win beating Tavidance which has won since. Normally from the wide gate at the 170m start here at Caulfield is a no g, but he is a decent galloper back in form and on a dry surface. If Williams can get him in a decent possie the favourite will know he is in a race at the distance. 

PANCHO($12); 3rd/$3.60 place beaten 0.7L, 10 out 10 ride by Craig Williams, put him in a beaut spot had him pumping on the corner he ran very well for a good 3rd.

BR8 H4 ISAURIAN($4.60); this horse is a pistol first up he has had 6 trials coming into this race so he will be very fit. Likes to settle just behind the speed he will be Super hard to beat.

ISAURIAN($5); 3rd/$2.10 beaten 0.4L, tried very hard in the straight and kept coming not beaten far. We will be all over him next start.

BR9 H8 ENTERPRISE PRINCE($12); this galloper has a decent record and he meets quite a few of these gallopers much better at the weights after his last start 4th. From his gate(1) Fradd should have him closer to the speed he relishes this track and distance he has been placed in soft but prefers good, hopefully it is by race 9 we think he is over the odds. GIDDYUP!!!

ENTERPRISE PRINCE($10); 8th beaten 4.4L, slipped at the start and was held up for while in the straight. Finished off okay but really never a possibility.

SR9 H1 MADAM LEGEND($5.50); this mare loves to race fresh and with her 3 kilo claim comes into this race quite nicely. She loves to roll forward and the distance is perfect first up handles all conditions. Our Best

MADAM LEGEND($3.60); 3rd/$1.70 place beaten 3.3L, 3 wide no cover from the 600m, got to the front at the distance fought on for 3rd

SUMMARY; Our Best came through once again when Sword Of Mercy($6-$4.20) won easily for us in the last race at Flemington with 2 3rd placings as well so HAPPY DAYS!!! Multi runner players would have been searching for something stronger than a shandy after 20 races, looked like we were going to struggle to reach double figures in our top 4 selections for the first time in 4 and half years. Rallied late to limp across the double figure line with 6 winners from the last 8 races. With that day done and dusted tomorrow should be a quick turnaround. Lets talk about the Summer Cup at Randwick and Black On Gold($11) this horse is not everyone’s favourite but he is very good 3rd up and meets Greysful Glamour 5.5kegs better on their last run. We have stated before if you let Greysful Glamour roll along in front she is super tough to run down. But if pressured at all she has a tendency to throw in the towel. So Black On Gold for us over Best Of Days and the grey mare battling on. The Bernborough Plate at Eagle Farm, we would love to tip Profit here but The Harrovian is in insane form and with 57kegs he should be to good again. He does meet Profit 4 kegs better at the weights. Eagle Farm races 3, 4 and 6 might just be a Waller trifecta all up maybe. Lets kick in the new year with a huge day today with plenty of winners and exotics with some nice value today in Our Best so GIDDYUP!!!
