SR2 H2 Moss ‘n’ Dale($4.40); this horse is a mudder and definitely better suited here than his last two runs at W.F.A. He is super consistent when he strikes form and today should be the day. We are mindful his odds will tumble in the conditions but GIDDYUP!!!
Moss ‘n’ Dale($2.50); 4th beaten 4L, settled back never a chance the way the race was run on pace.
MR6 H7 Belgravia($8.50); so pleased this horse is being overlooked some what in the markets. He relishes this distance and third up should be ready, drops a handy 5kegs on his last run when running home nicely at Flemington. We expect him to be rallying late.
Belgravia($8.50 – $9); 7th beaten 4.1L, last on straightening made ground ran on “nicely” if they start him again this Autumn over longer we will be following.
BR10 H6 Happy Hooves($10); what will the track will be like when this race is run is a lottery, but he is adept in all conditions. This horse can sit up just off the speed or get back, he flies around this circuit and distance. As this is quite a strong 0MW handicap it just might enhance our odds, he will be there when the whips are cracking.
Happy Hooves($10 – $12); 2nd($3.60 place) beaten 1L, missed the start and subsequently got a long way back ran on strongly through the pack.
BR6 H9 Pressway($10); if the track gets to heavy he rates very highly, he is capable on soft he should get a good run from gate 5 and on the limit should be hard to hold out.
Pressway($10 – $5.50); 5th beaten 3.5L, beat run in transit ran to the front in the straight but didn’t go on with it.
Doomben are expecting an early storm this afternoon, as the track is already a soft rating it could get to heavy. Rosehill is rated a heavy 10 at 5.30am Qld. time this morning with more rain coming.
