SR4 H5 Istria ($3.80); this horse likes to settle just behind the speed and drawn to do so. This is no harder than her last assignment and is a winner second up. She relishes soft going but is adept on good, they will know she is there at the distance.
Istria; 8th($4.80) got back tried to make a run held up momentarily in straight did nothing when clear. Overestimated her ability on dry ground.
MR8 H6 Theanswermyfriend ($6.50); his last two starts he has been restrained and raced ungenerously from his good gate today he should be closer to the speed or even take it up. This is a good field and if they do decide to lead on him he will be super hard to run down.

MR5 H7 Tahi ($11); we think this horse is great value, he is back in form after two runs from a lengthy lay off and is a much better horse when ridden right on the speed. The distance suits and we expect Oliver to have in a winning position at the distance.
Tahi; 4th ($12) beaten 1.5L, got further back than we envisaged found it hard to keep up early down the straight, being urged along. Picked up at the distance and really surged to the line, very good run. BIG FOLLOW ME FROM US.
SR8 H3 Invinzabeel ($6.50); this fellow has been in form all prep and is due for a touch of luck. He likes to race up behind the speed and be ready to pounce, he relishes the track and the distance and handles all conditions. We think he is in pretty well here SUPER HARD TO BEAT.
Invinzabeel; 5th($5) beaten 1.6L, began well then eased to be running 4th and began over racing, run to the inside of Prized Icon was not taken when it appeared in the staright probably right in finish if rider had elected to.
Doomben Track Good; Rosehill Track Good; Flemington Track Good; Keep a close eye on track conditions at Flemington as there is some rain about this morning track could get to a soft 5. We have Nicci’s Gold on top in our selections today, I am sure every one saw that she should have bolted in last start, I have just have one reservation and that could have been her peak run, maybe that’s the reason for the quick back up. We also found it extremely difficult to separate Awake The Stars($7.50)and Hingus Rose($6) in race 9 Doomben they are both on speed runners and in form. Awake The Stars comes through a couple of good form line races and Hingus Rose is nicely weighted here if we could have separated them one would have been in Our Best maybe play both at the odds just a thought. Every one had a cracking day at the Gold Coast races last Saturday for my son’s bucks day and the WEDDING DAY IS UPON US so lets hope there are plenty of winners to help pay for the beverage package lol.
