Doomben Track Soft; Randwick Track Good; Caulfield Track Good; Our Best; Randwick race 1 Nic’s Vendetta($6.50) can race mid field or right on the speed this is his best distance and definitely races best second up, has run some good races here and if his 3 kilo claimer gives him a good ride he will be there when the whips are cracking. Doomben race 8 Pelethronius($6) this horse is super fit, he does like to settle back and the soft conditions will suit the Maestro will bring him home. Caulfield race 7 Property($6.50) loves track and distance and is in nicely here with 54kgs maybe just behind the speed. Lost his way last prep we expect him to find it here. Doomben race 5 Bushy($12) this old boy races best his first 3 runs after a break, forget he went around at Toowoomba, ticks a lot of boxes here. We think he is well weighted here and drawn to race in his usual forward fashion, in form hoop so everything points to him. Doomben race 6 Basara($12) this horse is in great form and has conditions to suit with an ounce of luck we think he can beat the odds on favourite Whypeeo. Randwick race 8 Cool Chap($8.50) still weighted okay for a race of this calibre, ran a cracking race in the Doncaster, distance suits and lets hope Ollie rides one of his gems. Group 1 All Aged Stakes is a good race race without being outstanding Brave Smash($7.50) the insane tempo of the T.J. was just a little too hot for him, we expect him to test Trapeze Artist right out here and get the chocolates. Champagne Stakes Group 1 we woul d love to have stuck with Long Leaf($7.50) here but are terrified of Encryption($15) suggesting play both (good odds). Secret Agenda($5.50) they have finally settled on the Group 3 Irwin Stakes Adelaide to run her and she will test Viddora to the max. Two things don’t play week day races a lot of them are barrier trials and if you play every race and one horse per race your chances of success are limited as we have stated on many occassions. Last Saturday gave us two blowouts in a row in Our Best (unheard of for us) this week no holds barred, but having said that we did PINPOINT ALIZEE in the Group 1 and got the MAIN QUADDIE SYDNEY($1500) and 15 WINNERS in our TOP 4 SELECTIONS with plenty of value for multi runner players. We have found of late that a lot of horse a re being ridden out of their comfort zone, so we are excluding in our summary where we think Our Best will be in running. WINX what a CHAMP she is just getting better with age and what a great decision it was not to take her overseas PLAUDITS ALL ROUND.
