Gold Coast Track Good; Randwick Track Good; Caulfield Track Good; OUR BEST; Gold Coast race 5 Colosimo($7.50) there is a lot of pace in this race which will suit this filly as she likes to nestle about mid field. She likes the Coast circuit and this is her pet distance, the 57kegs is about her right weight and with an ounce of luck Fraad should be able to get over the top of them. Gold Coast race 6 Delightful Feeling($11) Dunn has four in this (seems to be par for the course these days trainers with multiple runners) but we feel this gelding just needs a modicum of luck and he will be in the finish. He finished 5th last start in a stronger race but without a doubt should have been in the finish, he likes this circuit and the track should be perfect for him by race time. Caulfield race 9 Nasdex($6) this horse has come back in fine form, he will be right up on the speed and some great form around Wise Hero and has the same weight as last time, as long as his 3kilo claimer gives him a good ride he just might be too good. Randwick race 7 Wahng Wah($10) we think this mare was poorly ridden last start, she was dropped out to last and tried to make ground along the inside (was not the place to be). Her racing pattern is to get back outside and winding up not sit and sprint. She has a good second up record and handles all conditions EXPECTING a much better RUN from her today. Gold Coast race 7 Mystical Renegade($9) this fellow definitely races better when ridden closer to the speed, at least he keeps out of trouble that way. He certainly has an affinity for this track and Lloyd would win on a rocking horse at the moment, he is a consistent galloper that is just itching to get away with one. Our Longshot is Divine Dice in Caulfield race 7 at around the $31 mark we think he is way overs. He won a BM70 (open) last start with 57kgs and only goes up a kilo in a BM70 for 3&4 year olds, he relishes the distance and can handle all conditions and is a jump and run horse, he meets Sheriff John Stone 3kgs worse at the weights here for beating him home by 1.25L but he has had three cracks here for NIL, and Divine Dice has a much better record over the distance as we said we think he is way overs. A horse that is not in OUR BEST but we would like to mention is Gretna($5.50) one of Waller‘s team that has been trialing very well up at his Queensland stable, but he has elected to bring her straight back to Sydney for her first up run, she just might be the one. Remember Caulfield is on SUNDAY. Queensland has turned on a cracker today weather wise and the track at the Goldie should certainly be Good, we have pinned a few there and feel it could be smiles all round after the last. We sent a few Flemington selections to some of our Regular followers on New Years Day with good results targetting 5 races for two winners and two placegetters so it should have been a good day.
