BR7 H2 Bring It Home Pop, SR7 H7 Moher, SR9 H8 Machinegun Jubs
Bring It Home Pop; 2nd (2.8L)- ($4.20-$3); beautiful run in front but you could sense Pierata who was stalking him in third place was going to be hard to hold out. He ran well.
Moher; 7th(2.1L)- ($7-$13); had a glorious run behind the leaders loomed at the distance, just plugged to the line. (stewards: he was kicked on Friday morning was vetted and cleared, betting indicated something)
Machinegun Jubs; 5th(3.8L)- ($7-$7.50); sat second until the distance then the wheels started spinning very disappointing in our opinion.
BR4 H1 In His Stride
In His Stride; 9th(4.5L)- ($10-$13); settled back last, ran home okay. He is much better on a soft track.
Technical issues, wrong dates and crazy weather were the order of the day last Saturday but we came through it with some great results. At Sandown we had a cracking day with 8 winners in our top four and four of those on top plus a first four,2 trifectas, 5 quinellas/exactas and the main quaddie. All up 16 winners in our top four selections 6 on top plus 3 first fours, 5 trifectas and 11 quinellas/exactas. “Our Best” is having an El Nino run of late (4 weeks) placegetters yes but no winners, plenty that look likely in the run but aren’t going on with it at the business end a La Nino this weekend. We spotted one on Saturday that we can forget ever went around TAKOOKACOD no luck what so ever, next time. On that note have a great week and “GOOD LUCK” to all from horsebuck$.
Doomben Track Soft; Rosehill Track Soft; Sandown Track Heavy; Our Best: Rosehill race 7 Moher($7) struck form with a vengence last start at Flemington, this fellow is a much better horse when he can sit just behind the speed and he races consistent, well into a prep. Loves the track and the distance and doesn’t mind the sting out of the ground(rain bearing down on Sydney as we publish). Still nicely in here with 56kgs and we expect him to wear down Cabeza De Vaca (who does go up some 3kgs) in a driving finish. Doomben race 7 Bring It Home Pop($4.20) this horse is in outstanding form and ticks a lot of boxes here, he likes to roll along and is a swimmer. The set weights suit he is OUR BEST. Rosehill race 9 Machinegun Jubs($7) a very consistent mare that just happens to be pistol 3rd up, beautifully drawn to get a great run and handles all conditions. With the 2kilo claim comes into the race with 56kgs she will be there at the business end GIDDYUP! Doomben race 4 In His Stride($10) if there is one thing this horse likes it is a soft track, he jumps significantly in weight but is way down in class here. He has been lipped in a few close photos in his career , if he is on their shoulder at the distance he just might lip them this time. The weather this weekend is crazy so we have gone with the Weather Bureau(was that wise (:) for our track assessments. Sandown is supposed to deteriorate so no best bets there. Some great exotic results last week, lets keep it going. So on that note have a great weekend and “GOD LUCK” to all hosebuck$ followers.
