R6 H8 ZUMA CALIFORNIA($3.20) Ran home strongly last start after getting the gun run and bolting in. Today he drops in grade, drops 1.5kgs from last start and has barrier 3. Should get the gun run again and is adapt in all conditions. Loves the track and distance. Huge chance.
ZUMA CALIFORNIA($3.20 – $2.10); FIRST GIDDYUP!!! nice trail behind the leader peeled out 3 wide as they turned. Got to the front then immediately challenged by Safework slugged it out to the line to get up by a pixel.
BR7 H1 ME ME LAGARDE($3) Raced in the PJ BELL(G3) last prep but didn’t handle the heavy ground so should find this race more to its grade. Is unbeaten first up and recent trials suggest he’s ready to fire. Loves the track and distance and likes good and soft tracks. The whips will be cracking.
ME ME LEGARDE($3.60); 6th beaten 3.9L, missed the kick settled second last making a run 3 wide before the turn then pushed further out straightening. One burst at them then weakened we won’t be sacking her off that run.
SR6 H1 NORTHSTAR LASS($4.60) Great fighting spirit last start when challenged late. Will get all the favors from the inside draw and will most likely lead. The 1400m will suit and wet track no problem!. Tim Clark aboard a huge bonus !!!
NORTH STAR LASS($5.50); 4th beaten 2.65L, she ran well was there to win at the distance held her ground but the placegetters were too good on the day.
MR9 H1 IN THE BOAT($7) Sat three wide the trip last start and only beaten 2.6L. Second up today, loves the track and distance and drops 1kg from last start. Allana Kelly aboard is a bonus and from barrier 9 will be on pace and be tough to run down. Should be hard to catch.

SUMMARY: Hard watch for some of Our Best last week hopefully this week we can break the drought with a win in that department this week. The Spring carnival is ramping up and we are super pumped. Lets dive straight into it with the Sir Rupert Clarke and we think Graceful Girl($13) can run a race here. Was super last start when running home well only beaten 2 lengths. Is great third up and the step out to the 1400m is ideal. Likes soft tracks and will be steaming home. Aryton($7.50) forget his runs in Queensland last prep lame at Gold Coast and wide in the Group 1 Stradbroke. Will be up on pace from barrier 4 and loves the track and distance. Good trial as well. Showmanship($5) stormed through the line over the 1200m doing his best work late and winning. Second up and stepping out to the 1400m is ideal. Has won in group 3 company and is adept in all conditions. With even luck in running we think he can measure up in Group 1 company. Callsign Mav($23) defiantly needed the first up run and will take plenty from it. Is a three time group 1 winner and good form around some talented horse in NZ. Will go forward and loves the sting out of the track. Race 8 the How Now Stakes and we think Chain Of Lightning($2.30) can keep the win streak going. Charged through the line last start and with barrier 9 will be behind the speed here and will be charging home at a rate of knots. Handles all conditions. Isotope($4.80) had excuses first up. Second up here and will go forward to lead here. Loves the distance and will be there in the finish. Zapateo($6.50) won impressively first up then the heavy track didn’t suit her second up. Is good third up and hasn’t won at this trip yet but has placed 2 from 2 at the trip. Will be stalking the speed and will be steaming home. Written Beauty($7) had the worst luck with barriers last prep and with barrier 4 here could see the real horse here. Loves first up and the distance suits. Likes a soft track and will be steaming home. Just like to mention Race 8 Sydney The Shorts and the Beasts Nature Strip($2.15) and Edaurdo($4.20) face off again. Nature Strips win over in the UK was insane with 60.5kg an all. Drops 2.5kgs and trialled well. Edaurdo brained them on a wet track last start and gets conditions to suit again. Mazu($7.50) Group 1 winner in QLD last prep can run well and Lost And Running($8.50) to round out the top 4. A huge days racing and I’ll say it again WE ARE PUMPED !
