Doomben track Soft, Rosehill Gardens track Soft and Moonee Valley track Good. A great days racing in all 3 states today. We were a bit unlucky last week in our best so hopefully we can turn the tables and a get a couple up today ! The First of our best is in race 9 a horse called ZAFONIC DANCER. This horse ran super first up only beaten a length. He is second up and steps up to the 1600m which he loves. Barrier 7 today so from there we are hoping that Dale Smith can get midfiled and 1 out 1 back off the fence. This horse needs time to wind up so having him on the fence riding for luck may proove costly. But we think today is his day. Soft track a plus drops 2kg from last run a lot of postives with this horse. He will be there at the finish!. Our next horse in our best is LETTER TO JUILETTE. What a prep this horse is having absolutely flying !. His second up run was a cracker doesn’t do much 2nd up in a prep(3 goes for 1 3rd). She was slowly away she was 3 wide around the corner and in the straight but couldnt go with the winner. The key here today is the drop back in distance. She raced over the 2000m last start now drops back to here favourite distance of 1800m (2wins 1 placing from 5 starts). Proven soft perfromer. Drops 0.5kg and meets some horses 1.5 kgs better at the weights. Likes the track. From barrier 2 should get a lovely run in behind the leaders and pouncing on the lead to get us the cash in the last. SUPER CHANCE. Can’t wait to see how The Autumn Sun has returned. In melbourne me and my colleague were discussing the race with Nature Strip and we both had the same outlook that maybe Shoals is the forgotten horse in this race. Talented horse and just could knock off Nature Strip . A cracking Days racing so excited spring is here and the Spring Carnival is heating up YEWWW.
