Summary: Our Best for this week are ***BR6 H2 PLATINUM PANTHEON($3), BR8 H2 CIFRADO($7.50), SR6 H9 TAZIMA($2.80) and SR8 H2 BUSTLING($4.60). Two wins in Our Best last week with a host of winners in our top 4’s and some nice exotics to boot. Not much to write about this week but we stick with QLD and talk about the Ipswich Cup and Encoder($5.50) looks to be humming along nicely for this. Ran well in The Lord Mayors Cup after a 4 week freshen. Stepping out the 2150m is ideal and we are hoping the rain stays away because he relishes the dry ground better. Belvedere Boys($3.80) has been unlucky at key stages in the last two runs. With even luck in transit this time around will be hard to beat. Drying track also suits. Cavalry Man($4.80) has been in great form and is a great light weight chance in this. The distance rise won’t worry him. The drying track helps his chances here. Will get back but will be steaming home. Connecticut($67) is a nice chance cause I can see some speed in the race and if it’s playing to the back markers at all this guy can rattle home well. Been running well over shorter trips the step out the 2150m is ideal. Drying track suits as well. Melbounre could be an absolute bog if the rain arrives so could see some rough results if that’s the case. Cracking day on the coast and hopefully plenty of winners to boot.
