SUMMARY: Our Best for this week are *** BR7 H3 ROCKRIBBED($9.50) unplaced, BR10 H8 OUROBOROS($2.90) L.SCR., SR8 H3 COAL CRUSHER($4.50) FIRST /$6 GIDDYUP!!!, MR6 H2 AVIATRESS($4.40) 2nd/$1.70 place. Bit unlucky in Our Best last week. But plenty of value in Our Top 4 and plenty of exotics to go round. Let’s dive straight into the action and talk about the last group 1 for the spring carnival The C.F.ORR Stakes and we think Jimmystar($1.80) ran third to the Champion sprinter Ka Ying Rising and then absolutely bolted in next start on the soft. Loves the track and distance and is adept in all conditions. Will be just behind the pace here and will be steaming home with the pace on. Angel Capital($3.10) was unlucky here two back then never clear in the Everest beaten only 2 lengths and savage the line late. Loves the track and distance and drawing barrier 5 is ideal and can be sat 1 out 1 back and be able to pounce late. Evaporate($6.50) will go forward in this race but might let the roughie go here and take a sit. Was good in the Toorak here two back and solid in the Golden Eagle. Will be there when the whips are cracking. Busustow($27) has been mixing his form this prep. The step out to the 1400m will be ideal and is group 1 placed. Another who will roll forward and make own luck. A tricky days racing with plenty of weather systems around so hard to predict what the tracks will be like. Off to the Goldy races for the old mans bday, let the beers flow lol.
