SUMMARY: Our Best for this week are ***BR4 H3 MAZIS($2.25) FIRST GIDDYUP!!! BR10 H15 SURPRISE HONEY($4) ABANDONED MR5 H1 STEPARTY($8) 4th and MR8 H6 LEICA LUCY($5.50) 2nd/$1.80 place. Just missed in Our Best with Shangri La Boy Just going down by a short margin. Plenty of winners in our Top 4 and Via Sistina proved too good again with Antino pulling up lame. Let’s dive straight into it and talk about the Derby and Options($10) on top for us with a luckless run in the Moonee Valley Vase and with clearer air would have been challenging the winner. The step out to the 2500m won’t be an issue and with the big track of Flemington he will be steaming home! Providence($5.50) the further out in trip the better this horse goes and last start after a slow tempo ran home super. Will be fighting out the finish. Autumn Mystery($11) won so well last start after being held up for majority of the straight. If it won by a space it would be well in the market. Super breeding and is ready for this trip now. Will go well. Meiwa($15) was luckless in the Sportsbet Classic last start when held up badly and charged through. The breeding suggests he will relish the trip. Observer($2.25) good win off a slow tempo set by himself. I know he was eased down but we think he should of done a bit more and maybe he was just seeing out the 2040m that’s why he eased up on him. Makes his own luck and just has too see out the extra 500m. Just a quick mention on Beadman($5). Should of won last start when badly kept in a pocket and only out late. Will sit in behind the pace up the straight and be steaming home. His latest jumpout here was absolutely magnificent. The start of the Melbourne Cup Carnival and we are friggin pumped. We will have tips on the site for Melbourne Cup Day so look out for them early Tuesday morning. Maybe the last 4 races for Oaks day.
