BR7 H1 SHANGRI LA SPRING($4.80); good horse with a strong win last start over 2000m. Dropping back to 1600m today but no issue for us. You would think he will roll forward and take it up even from gate 12. He definitely handles all conditions and just might prove superior here.

SR7 H2 LADY LAGUNA($4.80); back in form this time in and 3rd up as well. Handles all conditions and is a G1 winner. Distance is perfect 3rd up and she should be able to sit on the speed from gate6. Very good mare when right tough to hold out here.
LADY LAGUNA($2.80); 3rd/$1.40 place beaten 2L,
MR5 H3 FLEETWOOD($4.80); fresh is best for this galloper and we would love to see him roll forward and be on the speed. The distance is ideal 1st up and he is in this race well placed with 58.5kgs. Loves the wet but is adept on good conditions. Will be there when the whips are cracking.

SUMMARY: Ambassadorial nearly bought it home for us last week going down a flared nostril. Pretty good day all round for the multi players. Not a lot to write about this week but the South Australian Derby G1 is on and a host of chances with American Wolf($8) racing extremely well and certainly has a staying pedigree. He can be right on the speed. Lavalier($8) good run last start here coming from midfield. He certainly gave the impression this distance will suit. Global Eclipse($11) has only had 4 starts but run well on each occassion. He likes to roll along and just might give them something to think about at the distance. Statuario($3.20) has also been racing well and we suggest sit off the speed here. Goldrush Guru($12) might just show huge improvement here. Not convinced he liked Sydney all that much. His run last was not that bad. SMOKEY!! that is our top 5. Winter carnival gearing up now some great brissy action over the next 6 weeks. Just letting everyone know early we will be taking a 2 week break after the carnival finishes. SO THERE WILL BE NO TIPS AVAILABLE ON SATURDAYS THE 5TH & 12TH JULY. We can forget a lot of runs at the Valley last week the track was well…. you know. Another cracking day on the Goldie so a few winners to top it off would be great.
