BR6 H1 COSMIC FIRE($4) Has outstanding form lines. Beaten only start at Eagle Farm against Broadsiding in a strong race. Has really tapped into his ability last prep. Outstanding first up form distance suits and loves the slop. Has good gate speed so should be able to possie up behind the leaders here and take over with 100m to go. 

COSMIC FIRE($); 4th beaten 1.4L, very good run considering and a massive follow up from us.

SR10 H4 SPACE AGE($27) Ran well off a little freshen with not much room at all and ran home well back to the inside on inferior ground. Form lines are good around him with multiple winners out of each race. Stepping out to the 1600m is ideal the wetter the better for him likes to roll forward so might take a sit here and hopefully get to the outside and be steaming home. 

SPACE AGE($19): 7th beaten 3.8L, we thought every possible, tried hard but not good enough on the day.

MR9 H9 AMBASSADORIAL($3.90) Good run first up when on the fence at Moonee valley then when got off  really powered through the line nicely! The extra 100m’s suits and is versatile in running. Plenty of pace in this race so might take a sit in behind hopefully 1 out 1 back. Good second up and adept in all conditions. Huge chance. 

AMBASSADORIAL($4.40); 2nd/$2.40 place beaten 0.1L, sat outside the leader got to the front turning challenged strongly by the winner. Fought on to be beaten a breath.

SUMMARY: A cracking day for the site last week. Bois D’Argent flew the flag for OUR BEST with healthy odds and a cracking ride to boot. Let’s dive straight into the action And the Brisbane Mile BR8 and Just Folk($4.50) dropping back in grade here after Contesting the Group 1 Doncaster Mile. The wetter the better for him. From barrier 4 should be able to get a nice uncontested lead here. Track and distance suit. Should be hard to run down. Kerchak($18) another swimmer who raced well in Sydney Saturday company last prep. He always needs the run first up and really hits his straps 2nd up and beyond. Should get a nice run behind a genuine tempo. Loves the track and distance and drops 2.5kgs from last start. Will be steaming home. Port Lockroy(4.40) ran super in the Doncaster Mile. Drops in grade and will get back from the wide draw, peaks third up and will be running home nicely. Tenzing($11) has been in fine form this preparation. Loves the track and distance and the big drop in weight and same goes with Kronenburg($11) to round out our top 4. Just like to mention that Too Darn Lizzie($5) is racing in Adelaide R7 today after we had it as Our Best last start at Moonee Valley when the track was very tricky to read and the fence was off a bit too. Just food for thought. The Quokka is on today at Ascot and whilst Overpass($2.10) has an outstanding record track and trip he is vulnerable 2nd up and leaves it open to the class Kiwi gelding Crocetti($31). Front Page($8.50) huge 1st up in the Galaxy against a smart one. Headwall(6.50) been racing out of its skin in strong company. West Star($11) is an exciting type who smashed them first up. Biggest test but has potential. Bloody damp again in all three states this weekend so wet track form to the fore once again nothing should be postponed hopefully.
