BR6 H4 BETTCHA THE CROWN($5) won impressively last start when he just got up over the final few strides. Has had about a month off from that run. The 1500m is ideal, likes Eagle Farm and the drying track at Eagle Farm can only help his chances. Will be steaming home.
BETTCHA THE CROWN($); 9th beaten 6.4L, settled in a great spot but only plugged to line. Pulled up lame.
MR4 H3 MISS ROUMBINI($4.80) Cracking run first up when ducking back to the inside to run home well for third. Unbeaten second up likes the track and distance. Should be just behind a hot speed and will be pouncing on them late.
MISS RHOUMBINI($4.60); FIRST GIDDYUP!!! settled off the speed and battled hom estrongly last bit to get up near the post.
MR5 H5 PRINCE ERIC($8) His first up run in Australia was an absolute cracker. Chased a hot tempo bumped heavily on the corner and still managed to hold third and that run was off a 5 month break. He’s good second up, loves the 1600m and has had a nice freshen up of 3 weeks. Overs in our opinion.
PRINCE ERIC($8.50); 3rd/$3 place beaten 2.1L, super unlucky no run until the race was done ran home ssolidly for a good 3rd. Next time banner.
SUMMARY: A cracking day on the site with Arapaho saluting for us in OUR BEST and a couple of unlucky ones too in our opinion. A host of winners in our Top 4 so a great day all round for everyone. Lets dive straight into race 9 The Ballarat Cup and Future History($7) has too be a chance dropping back in grade against the likes of Via Sistina. Loves the 2000m loves dry conditions and is super fit. Ain’tnodeeldun($19) a great run second up over the 1600m’s. Has great third up stats and finally gets out the 2000m. Loves dry ground so hopefully the rain stays away. Likes to get back in his races. He will be steaming home. Huge chance. Berkeley Square($6.50) has been racing super this prep. Dropping back to the 2000m will suit. From barrier 2 he might sit a little closer but his racing style is to get back so might be tricky from there. With even luck he will be charging home late. Air Assault($12) this is the first time this prep where he steps out the 2000m and it will suit perfectly. Co led last start and was outgunned late. If he can take a sit just behind the leader or lead out right he will be hard to beat. Loves good ground. It’s A Wild Night($15) was very unlucky last start and never got a crack at them. Should be just off pace today from the wide draw and hopefully can be one out one back. 2000m will suit now 4th up and is adept in all conditions. Competitive race. Rothfire($7) is back and if his trials are anything to go by he looks like his old self again. He has a big weight but if they let him kick on the corner it might just be game over. A cracking day on the Coast with plenty of value to be had across all three states.
