BR9 H4 TIGER SHARK($5) First up run was a cracker. She loves the track and distance and is unbeaten 2nd up. Is adept in all conditions. Will be right on speed from the barrier 7! Hard to beat here. 

TIGER SHARK($4.60); FIRST GIDDYUP!! jumped led game over.

MR6 H2 RED ACES($3.50) Cracking run 2nd up when held up at vital stage and really ran on well over the 1800m. The step out to the 2040m is ideal and breeding suggest that won’t be a problem. Should be stalking the leading bunch and will be steaming home off the bend! 

RED ACES($3.30); FIRST GIDDYUP!!! sat just behind the leaders callenged strongly at the distance, fought on to win narrowly.

MR8 H1 UNCLE BRYN($9) Drier track helped second up. The step out to the 1600m is ideal third up. From barrier 1 will drift back and with speed in the race should get a nice tempo to suit. Will be there when the whips are cracking. 

UNCLE BRYN($10); 8th beaten 5.7L, nice run didn’t come on disappointing.

SUMMARY: Cox Plate day!!!! Safe to say we are pumped here at Horsebucks so lets dive straight into the race and we think Viva Sistina($4.20) can win here. Her run in the Turnbull was a cracker. Flowed into it beautifully a perfect Cox Plate warm up. Loves the 2000m and only has to handle the Valley and we think this is her race. J Mac looking to add another Cox Plate to his name. Broadsiding($6) I wouldn’t be jumping off him too quickly. Had the race pattern against him second up at Caulfield. The step out to the 2000m is ideal. Little bit of give in the ground wouldn’t go astray either. With J Kah aboard and only 49.5kgs He will be steaming home. Pride Of Jenni($4.40) tried her heart out against a flying Ceowulf. Distance and track suit. Been a lot of talk about change of tactics. Don’t Think they should differ from what has been working. Especially around the Valley where if your a front runner your usually hard to run down. Mr Brightside($8.50) would of been top 2 if it wasn’t for the 2000m. Ran second in this race last year so should see another great run from the champ. Prognosis($3.50) is an absolute beast. Loves the 2000m and has form around Romantic Warrior. If he handles the trip over and the Valley will be interesting to see how good he is!  A cracking race can’t wait for it. The Melbourne Spring Carnival is in full swing now with good cup meetings during the week and glad to be on holidays to enjoy all the action.
