BR9 H13 TECTONIC PLATE($4.20) Has been terrific form this prep and every step up in grade she has taken in her stride. Would of won by more last start if she wasn’t three wide the trip. From barrier 9 will be midfield hopefully one out one back. Loves the distance, and good tracks also. She only carries 49kgs after the claim. Looks like the one to beat here.
TETONIC PLATE($4.60); 3RD/$2.30 place beaten 1L, no luck missed kick cluttered. Great run similar weight next time?
SR9 H9 SHEZANALISTER($7) Ran on strong and just peaked last start in the Missile Stakes(G2). Drops back to a Benchmark 88 grade. Loves the distance and back onto a firmer surface suits. Should sit just behind the leaders here. The class drop should see her right in the finish.
SHEZANALISTER($4.60); 5th beaten 0.83L, great run and ride every chance.
MR10 H11 JENNILALA($7.50) Her first up record is fantastic(3 from3). Loves the track and distance. Drops back in grade from last prep. Will have a tonne of speed from out there to get across. Is beautifully placed here and if she gets the front might be see ya later at the distance. Great chance.

SUMMARY: Our Best last week were a tad disappointing but out of the two Panic is the one to follow. We will look for him later in the prep. Lets dive straight into the group one Memsie Stakes and the more we looked at this race the more we realised that we couldn’t go pass Mr Brightside($2.50). His track and distance form, first up, good gate. Just a Champ. Now Aegon($35) looks like a smokey in this race. Originally had him on top but the rain hasn’t eventuated and had to be drop from first place. But his first up run was a cracker. He was beaten in this race last year but had excuses. Loves the track and distance and from barrier 1 he can settle closer. If things go his way, he might give them a fright at the 200m. Pride Of Jenni($2.30) was in insane form last prep. I have a few queries for this galloper though. It’s probably her worst distance range winning 1 from 11 and placing 5. Has never won first up but placed 3 times. She will most likely lead here but if Gentleman Roy($8) takes her on which we can envisage in our minds, she might be vulnerable at the 200m. Might be looking for bigger fish to fry? Antino($5) has been flying in the jumpouts. Obviously ready to peak first up. Loves the track and distance. Will get back in running but with the hot tempo should get a nice cart into the race. A cracking race can’t wait to watch and see the tactics early on. Just like to mention Stormboy’s($2.40) return in Sydney in the San Domenico Stakes, there has been talks about him needing to win this race or he is in trouble, What The? He had a monster first prep, Won the Magic millions, 3rd in the Golden slipper then got stretched out to the 1400m in his last run for the first time on a heavy track and most likely a needed a break before that run. What we are saying is let’s not judge him by what he does first up, yes if he runs last then obviously something is wrong but if he finishes top 4 there looking to bigger targets. And remember Gatsby’s($1.90) is fitter as well. Too much emphasis these days on having to win every single race they compete in. Read between the lines.
