BR10 H12 YELLOW BRICK($6.50) Sat wide the entire trip last start and only got beaten a pimple. Fitter and the extra 150m suits. Is adept in all conditions and with a better ride and some luck should see him fighting out the finish again.

MR9 H14 LE FERRARI($11) Great first up run. Even better second up and track and distance suits. From barrier 5 should sit just behind the pace here and will be steaming home. Great chance at good odds.

SUMMARY: Some more placing in OUR BEST last week but it is that time of year for some rough results. Let’s dive straight into the Doomben Cup and Huetor($10) is looking on track for another big run in QLD. Won well second up over 2000m then drop back to the 1800m last start at Sunny Coast. Steps back out the 2000m which is ideal. Is adept in all conditions. Obvious target race like the last two years. Kovalica($3.50) hasn’t been at his best this prep but his last run was much improved. Back out the 2000m is ideal and is adept in all conditions. Must be at his best though to beat Huetor. Detonator Jack($5.50) has had three runs over 1500m and 1600m this prep and now finally gets to the 2000m. Will sit behind which looks a like a strong tempo on paper. So that should play into his hands at the end. Watch for him late with J Mac aboard. New Endevour($21) ran strongly third up only missing by the smallest of margins. Togher here but is rock solid fit and will be up on pace and hard to run down. Serpentine($21) could be the smokey here. Won first two races this prep over 2000m then went to 3200m last start and not disgraced only beaten 2.8L. Freshened for this and back to the 2000m are big pluses and good trial as well. Will lead from the front and might be catch me if you can tactics. A cracking days racing in Bris Vegas today with plenty of value we feel. Sandown looks like the pick of the two meets down south. Should be a cracking day!
