MR3 H8 IVAN’S HERO($6.50): consistent last time in and races well fresh. The distance won’t be an issue down the straight and he “should” possie up just behind the speed. Handy BM78 but he can certainly round them up.
IVAN’S HERO($5.50); 2nd/$2.10 place beaten 0.1L, beaten a micro pixel sat just off them until the distance then challenged. Moved to centre of the track got to the front, still there with 10 to go nabbed right on the peg.): Thats racing.
BR7 H13 STRAPPARSI($6.50): racing well and is very fit . He is racing so consistent this time in and his last start win was good getting over the top of Dirty Dancing (won next start) late. Drawn wide but has Campai (leader) outside him so he just might follow across to be on speed. Nice chance.
STRAPPARSI($6.50); 5th beaten 2.9L, absolutely thought he would have followed that tearaway leader across from the jump. INSTEAD OF BEING BACK MIDFILED AND WIDE GAME OVER.
MR10 H9 SANDY PRINCE($7.50): good win SA last start and this horse definitely races best on the speed. The distance is his best and he handles most conditions. Drops 2 kegs on his last win albeit up a tad in class. If he gets the break at the distance it just might be game set and match.
SANDY PRINCE($6.50); 5th beaten 2.7L, did what we thought he might in leading but he couldn’t sustain it. Winner sat on his hammer all the way. So no excuses.
SUMMARY: Revolutionary Miss($6) was a big winner for us in Our Best last week and as always plenty of action for all players. Fantastic days racing down south especially Flemington. The Group1 Australian Guineas is a great race, thinking King Colorado($7) will be ready to peak 3rd up. Two great runs after a spell finishing strongly both times. This just might be his race. Veight($6) great run second up behind the champ[ Mr. Brightside. He will idle up just behind the speed here. Riff Rocket($2.80) super win 1st up when rocketing home from midfield. We will certainmly be looking for him in the Australian Derby. Quintessa($21) is a very good Kiwi filly, very fit and distance ideal. She can sit a little closer in the run and get home hard. The Pendragon($26) another very fit Kiwi in great form. What a super race. Ouroboros($11) r7 Flemington will rocket forward and just might be hard to run down. Fangirl($1.55) R7 Randwick what a great return to racing last start but can be a little vulnerable 2nd up just food for thought!! The main races at Flemington are chock full of chances so let’s hope we can glean some the value on offer. Caulfield last week was so on pace biased that a lot of form can be misleading (although we had great day out there) so plenty to extract from that meeting for the future. An absolute cracking day here on the Goldie so a few well priced winners will be icing on the cake.
