BR10 H4 VIMINELE($3.60) Was a good run first up then way too far back in a race on magic millions day so forget that run! Then too far back at the sunny coast and steamed home so good run there. The step back out to the 1350m is ideal and the track suits. From barrier 6 would hopefully sit closer just behind midfield. Would be surprised if not in the finish.

SR5 H2 HOWGOODAREYOU($5.50) Had a terrific first prep. The drop in grade is ideal and the distance suits. Is good first up and the claim is ideal! Has been trialing super and from barrier 1 will be leading with sustained speed huge chance.
HOWGOODAREYOU($5); 4th beaten 2L,
SR8 H2 OMNI MAN($5.50) Is an out and out sprinter and a drop in grade suits. Tim Clarke aboard is huge bonus and will get a soft lead here. Track and distance suits. After two good trials will be hard to run down!

SUMMARY: If African Daisy had a touch more luck we would of had a winner in Our Best last week but that’s racing. Wrote to Arataki and The Ritz forget they went around. So hopefully we have a bit more luck today and have found a couple! Lets dive straight into the C.F.ORR STAKES and obviously Mr Brightside(2.10) is the one to beat, but thinking the old Buffalo River($41) can run them off their legs with the run under his belt. From barrier 1 will lead here. Loves the track and the distance suits. Could cause an upset at eachway odds. Pericles($7.50) will get a gun run in behind the speed here from the barrier. Is adept in all conditions and the 1400m is ideal. Has been trialing well and is ready to go. Veight’s($6) first up win was impressive looked like he wouldn’t get there but really dug deep over the last 100m to get up in final stride. Second up over the extra trip can only suit this galloper and will be steaming home. Just like to mention Hip Hip Hoorah($17) a nice Snitzel filly who has won in open 2YO company twice in her first prep. Her second win was impressive missing the start a length and then drove through to sit behind the leaders, then got to the front at the 200m and held on nicely. Form around her is great and could be a smart filly in the making. Each way play for sure. A cracking day’s racing especially down south with their Autumn carnival getting started and we are getting pumped that’s for sure!
