BR10 H2 ZHUANG SHI($3.90) Ran well at the Gold Coast last start in Open company only beaten 1.5lengthhs. Drops back well in grade here has to carry the weight but can off set that with a positive ride here! Loves the track and distance and is adept in all conditions here. Huge chance.
ZHUANG SHI($3.30); 10th beaten 3.6L, got well back did absolutely nothing.
SR9 H2 HIGH BLUE SEA($2.80) Won impressively first up after a long spell. He is good second up and has group 1 formlines, looks a classy gelding. Be surprised if not winning this.
HIGH BLUE SEA($2.60); 7th beaten 4.6L, never looked like getting out even before the home turn.
MR7 H3 MISS TARZY($3.70) Keeps improving with every run this prep with big margins. Love her turn of hoof over the last 200m’s exactly what you need after a 2000m slog. Track and distance suits and looks the one to beat.
MISS TARZY($3.70); 3rd beaten 1.2L, every concievable chance.
SUMMARY: 2 placings in our best last week and with a bit of luck could have snagged one. We have a few this week we think can get us back on track. Let’s dive straight into it and talk about the Tab Carrington Stakes and Tamerlane($6) can get the win here after a good win in an Open Quality race last start at Doomben. Beat Freedom Rally who came out and won again. Likes the track and distance and is adept in all conditions. Will go forward. Waihaha Falls($5) is in terrific form this prep. Will get back in the run and will be steaming home. Can easily win this very weak listed race. Track and distance are key here and drops a kilo. Run well. Zou Tiger($5) ran super last start on pace only run down late. Could take similar tactics here from the good draw. Has one win from 12 starts but has raced in handy races to date and can win this. Felix Majestic($5) has 3 starts in Listed grade for three fails, but two of them were on wet tracks which he is useless on. The other was on a good track but wide throughout. So with today’s small field a good draw we reckon he will be hard to run down, eachway. Hard to find real value today with very short priced horses all around the country and just might be a day for the favs with a lot looking well placed.
