BR6 H4 PENTITO($7); this horse likes soft conditions and is suited by the track and distance. Would really like to see him closer to the speed here second up. He will be there when the whips are cracking.
PENTITO($8.50); 5th beaten 1.64L,
SR10 H4 PLUNDERING($4.60); this horse runs all his best races fresh and usually lobs on the speed. He likes the sting out of the track and the distance is perfect.Up a tad in grade but we feel he can overcome that fresh. Expect them all trying to catch him at the post.
PLUNDERING($4.40); 4th beaten 1.98L,
SUMMARY: huge day again at Flemington with 3 Group1’s and race 6 the G1 sprint over 1200m and we are staying with In Secret($4.60) she is a pistol down the straight and is a genuine group 1 mare. She will settle back off the speed and JMAC will have her humming at the distance. Imperatriz($1.90) has been in insane form at the Valley but this is a different story today. If she wins today then it’s game on in the Autumn in Sydney. Espiona($19) is a quality group mare and handles all conditions she didn’t have a lot of room in The Everest at the distance. She won’t be laying in down the straight and be pinging late. Bella Nipotina($15) in great form and never runs poorly, Airman($26) is improving and rounds out our five. Race 8 over the 2000m and Duais($7.50) might get some luck here she has been racing extremely well in the highest grade. This is her best distance an Ollie won’t be finding any traffic today. Prowess($4.60) top Kiwi with an impressive win last start. She also is a quality group mare , she loves the distance and any conditions. Probaly sit just behind them from the good draw. Zaaki($5.50) great galloper racing well loves Flemington and the distance handles all conditions. Will be on speed. West Wind Blows($3.10) great run in the Caulfield Cup with 54kgs he also might settle closer here today. Huetor($41) is a good horse on his day and is apistol third up an he relishes this distance mid field here. The Alligator($3.80) just might round out his Spring prep with a win in race 7. Plenty of action again today at Flemington,it has been tough but we have had some nice results in the big ones culminating with Without A Fight’s($9) win in the Cup GIDDYUP!!!
