BR8 H1 SCALLOPINI($6.50) Was in great form before the spell. Has had a trail leading up to this race. Is great first up and the track and distance suits. Is adept in all conditions. Will go forward from barrier 9 and be hard to beat.

SR6 H4 MONEY FROM THE SKY($6.50) Won well over this trip last start. Stays at the 1500m, drops in grade and likes the track. Also good third up and is very fit. From barrier 4 will get back but might get the same run as last start and fly home underneath them all.
MONEY FROM THE SKY($8.50); 5th beaten 3.33L,
SR9 H6 BOIS D’ARGENT($6) The wide run told in the Gosford Cup but still hung on well for 3rd. The track and distance suits and is adept in all conditions. Will be just behind midfield here and be steaming home.

MR9 H4 DAZZLING LUCY($3.60) Great return first up when a bit unlucky. Unbeaten second up and the step out to the 1200m is ideal. Likes good tracks and will settle midfield. Bit of pace on the inside of him which should give him a nice tow into the race. Flemington track suits. Huge chance.

SUMMARY: Not up to scratch in Our Best last week with Russian Dancer placing for us at about $2.80 a place. Lets dive straight into it and The Doomben Cup and its hard to go pass Zaaki($1.90). Sat three wide last start and was still too good for them. The extra 200m suits and is adept in all conditions. Huetor($10) ran well last start and stepping back out to the 2000m is ideal. Likes all conditions and looks the quinella again. No Compromise($34) ran home well after a freshen up after being lame second run in. The step out to the 2000m is ideal. Likes all conditions will be steaming home. Atishu($11) has been in great form this prep, just got too far back last start. Can bounce back with a top 4 finish here. Kovalica($12) has been going through the grades nicely with beautiful placement. Was wide the whole way last start and still grinded away to win. The 3 weeks between runs is key here. Off to Morphetville to the GOODWOOD and we think Lofty Strike($3) can get the win here. Forget his run in the T J SMITH on a bog track. Has had about month off and will be ready to fire. Will sit just behind midfield and be steaming home with the pace on. Zapateo($5.50) was great weaving in and out of the pack last start in The Sangster. Will get back again and the track and distance suits. Adept in all conditions. Another Award($8) was huge last start. Drops 4 kgs into this and will be steaming home once again. General Beau($46) ran well second up. Is fitter now being third up. Will be just off the pace here and can run into the top 4 at big odds. Just watch for downgrade at Morphettville today as showers are still around. Cracking days racing again but also very tough. But yet again we will muscle up here at Horsebuck$. Off to a mates wedding today and perfect conditions for it also. Congratulations mate can’t wait to celebrate.
