BR7 H9 GEORGIE’S PRIDE($4.80) Is a pistol first up and likes the track and distance. If she jumps well we fully expect her to lead here. Is adept in all conditions and Jimmy Byrnes aboard is a huge bonus. Very hard to beat !

GEORGIE’S PRIDE($8); 3rd/$1.80 place beaten 1.5L, led them up still in front at the distance, held on for a good 3rd 1st up. 

BR8 H2 TAMBO’S MATE($9) Been racing well this prep. Only beaten a length last start in the Listed Weetwood stakes he drops in grade here and back to the 1000m is ideal. Jumps well so should be up on speed from barrier 7. Likes the track and distance and goes well in all track conditions. Huge chance. 

TAMBO’S MATE($6); FIRST GIDDYUP!!! got a lot further back than we envisaged and got home late to just lob.

SR10 H12 GRAVINA($3.80)Flew home last start and the extra 100m suits here. Will get back in running and we expect the speed to be poured on here by Big Parade and that should suit our galloper nicely. She drops 2.5kgs off last run and loves the track and distance. Huge chance. The whips will be cracking. 

GRAVINA($2); 2nd/$1.20 place beaten a head, was getting home strongly but Big Parade was a touch too good on the day. The whips were cracking!!!

MR9 H2 CROSSHAVEN($11) Been over racing a bit last two starts without any head gear on. But the winkers go on first time and hopefully that gets him to settle. If he does and leads he will be super tough to beat. He’s good third up and loves the track and distance. Is adept in all conditions and is a great price. Giddy up.

CROSSHAVEN($11); 7th beaten 3.5L, don’t know what to make of this galloper maybe a tad overrated disappointing.

SUMMARY: Ellsburg saluted for us in OUR BEST last week. Some horses to follow up on in Our Best too. Cracking days racing this weekend so lets dive straight in and talk about the The Premier Stakes(G2) and we think Embracer is a huge chance. Ran super last start only beaten 0.4lengths and is third up today and dropping back to the 1200m is ideal. Jumps well and should be up on speed and if so he will be super hard to run down. Masked Crusader will be back and be charging home hard at the end. He has a habit of missing the start like his last two so that could be his undoing but is a good chance and  a group 1 winner. Rothfire ran well at his first run back from injury he will be up on the speed and be peeling out around the turn and will be in the finish ! Jonker didn’t handle the straight at Flemington last start. Back to a track with a corner which increases his chances of running a better race.The Epsom Handicap(G1) and we think Mo’unga can run a huge race. Raced against Incentivise last start and was charging late and from the wide gate will be looking for luck in the running but if so will be coming late also drops 1.5kgs from last his start. Cascadian will be midfield and will be steaming home late, drops 2.5kgs from last start and 4th up super fit. Private Eye sat wide last start and was only beaten 1.5 lengths so the step out to the 1600m is ideal. Looks on point for his target race and from barrier 7 hopefully get in one out one back and be charging late. Dalasan has to be given another chance especially over this trip. Sky Lab must be in the mix here on the minimum with 50kgs. Steps up to the 1600m and from barrier 4 should be able to get a nice cart in the race and he is group 1 placed. The Turnbull Stakes and its a cracker. We think Incentivise will be tough to run down on speed. Verry Elleegant is always hard to beat she is a Champion mare and if she is there at the distance she will be hard to hold out. Sir Dragonet showed he is back in form running better against Incentivise here than in Brisbane. Young Werther will be charging home at the end but can’t see him beating the big guns here, but anything’s possible in horse racing. Cracking day here on the goldy after a wild night of storms  here so the Brisbane track might be a bit soft today.
