OUR BEST; SR6 H2 AVILIUS($4.20) Huge run first up in the Chipping Norton when a close 3rd to Verry Elleegant. Great second up credentials. Adept in all conditions. He will be midfield and be charging home like a freight train. Huge chance.

AVILIUS($5); 3rd/$2 place beaten 0.3L, 2nd last turning held up up momentarily once fully clear steamed home.

SR8 H1 EDUARDO($7); Huge win first up to nail Nature strip on the line. This is a Group 1 but its not overly strong group 1 race in our opinion. He drops 1.5kgs from last start extremely well weighted in this. Is adept in all conditions. Loves the track and distance and from barrier 5 will be sitting behind the leaders or can lead if there is no pace. Huge chance at a great price. Giddy Up. He is our best 

EDUARDO($6.30); FIRST GOUGUDTHING!!! Nash took him straight to the front and that was the race he was way too good.  

BR6 H12 THE MOVE($6) His first up run is better than it looks on paper. He slipped on jumping and was caught wide the entire trip and ran on strongly. Is good 2nd up likes the track and distance. Drops 1.5kg from last start. Jimmy Byrne on board is a huge bonus. Great chance. 

THE MOVE($7); 4th beaten 3.6L, did a little work early to get up outside the leader, every chance down the straight fought on to just miss 3rd.

MR8 H12 KENYA($5) Scratched 

BESTEACHWAY; BR8 H2 BEWATERMYFRIEND($13); Great run first up when steaming home from last against the older horses. Back to his own age here is ideal. Second up today suits and likes the track and distance. Heavy track is no problem. Will get back from that gate but speed will be on which is a bonus and he will be steaming home over the top of them at juicy odds.

BEWATERMYFRIEND($12); 2nd/$3.10 place beaten 1.5L, got a long way back but was travelling nicely. Worked into the race and ran on well but leader too good on the day. Certainly on next time right race. 

SUMMARY;  Finally the Golden Slipper day is upon us with cracking racing at Sydney. Lets dive straight in and discuss the main races at Sydney. First off the Ranvet Stakes and Addeybb looks like the one to beat here loves the track and distance and wetter the better. Verry Elleegant in terrific form and is a top class mare looks like those two will fight it out again. Colette and Master of Wine can fill the places. The Rosehill Guineas and Mounga and Lions Roar look the quinella horses in this race. Mounga’s run in last start was outstanding steaming home so the step out to the 2000m is ideal. Lions Roar win last start was outstanding coming from last to score impressively. Out to the 2000m is ideal. Khoekhoe and Wheelhouse look set for this race both running on strongly last start and looking for the 2000m. Great race. Can’t discuss the George Ryder and the Galaxy because we have Our Best in those races. The Golden Slipper and we think Home Affairs can cause an upset here. His run last start when just missed was fantastic. His last 600m off a fast tempo was great. And we expect the speed to be on again for him to run home strongly. Stay Inside was pretty unlucky las start when held up and got out late and steamed home. Four Moves Ahead looks like a classic down for the fight horse and if the pressure goes on at the 200m don’t expect him to give up easily. Both wins have been in the wet so no queries there. Mallory and Rocket Tiger can run huge races here and they both like the wet. Another who will like the pace on will be the blue diamond winner Atorious. Likes the distance and is bred to handle the wet conditions. Cracking race !!
