OUR BEST: BR8 H2 JAMI LADY($9.50): Returns off a 14 week break. First up form is great 3 wins from 4 starts. Loves the track and distance. Takes a 1.5kg claim which brings her to 59kg. Adept in all conditions. From barrier 8 can ping the gates and lead or sit behind the leading bunch and be very hard to run down at the distance. Huge Chance. 

JAMI LADY; race abandoned due to weather

BR9 H10 EMERALD KINGDOM($4) Ran super first up when running third only beaten 1 length. Does peak second up with 2 wins and a placing from 4 starts. Loves the track and distance. Drops 2kg from last start. He can lead or box seat in behind the leading bunch. If he leads they will find it hard to run him down. Huge chance and he is OUR BEST!

EMERALD KINGDOM; race abandoned due to weather

SR5 H1 GREY LION($5.50) Great win last start in the Queensland Cup. Caught wide early then got a sit and came home nicely. He comes back to Sydney and finds a pretty easy race in our opinion. From barrier 6 can take a sit and be stalking the speed and peeling out at the distance the whips will be cracking. Likes the track and distance. We think he can get two wins in a row. 

GREY LION($11); 5th beaten 4.75L. used up a little early to settle second, every chance from then on, not good enough.

SR7 H6 WANDABAA($5.50) Been racing so well this prep. Placed in the group 3 Tibbie Stakes last start. Has had a 5 week break and a trial in the mean time. Dropping back to the 1200m is ideal. Loves the track and distance. Tommy Berry aboard is a bonus and drops 1kg from last start. From barrier 4 can take a sit in behind the pace. The whips will be cracking at the 100m. Expecting a huge run. Huge chance!

WANDABAA($5.50); 2ND/$2 beaten 0.25L, got back had to search wide came late to just miss.

BEST EACHWAY:MR3 H2 FREE TO MOVE($9.50) Great win last start. The form out of the race is good with Endanger coming out and winning last week impressively. She likes the track and distance. Luke Currie aboard is a bonus. Adept in good and soft conditions. The speed will be on so can take a sit in behind the leaders. She will be hitting the line strongly. Great chance at good odds. 

FREE TO MOVE($8); 5th beaten 4.25L, had a tough run wide beaten before the corner. Another chance.

SUMMARY; What a fantastic day last week when California Zimbol and Albarado were successful in saluting for Our Best last week. We hope to keep the momentum going this week. Now lets get into it and talk about the main races today. The first race is the Moonee Valley Vase Group 2. And we think KhoeKhoe($6) can win again. He drops half a kilo from last run. So he meets Young Werther($2.25) who also has a great chance 0.5kg better at the weights. And in racing its a game of inches. Also Cherry Tortini($5.50) forget he went around last start 3 wide the entire trip. Worth another go. And Johnny get Angry($23). Even though a maiden still has been hitting the line well and a good chance to run in the top 4. The Moonee Valley Gold Cup and we think Shared Ambition($3.90) can get the prize here. Scratched from Wednesday to be saved for this race.  His only run over this distance was in the Bart Cummings when had a really tuff run and still made up a stack of ground to only get beaten 2lengths. Can see him winning this. Levendi($31) is also another horse who can run well. He drops 4kgs into this race loves the track and distance and loves the slop. Selino($9.50) A Great Britain having its first start in Australia for Chris Waller. Has placed in this company before and the distance certainly wont be a problem. Also Sound($5.50) has been in great form this prep as well. The Cox Plate. What a cracking race this will be. Aspetar($15) in my opinion could win at good odds today.  A group 1 winner in Germany and before the break won the group 2 York Stakes in outstanding fashion in Britain. Is good first up, tuff as nails and can see sitting somewhere midfield and pouncing on the lead with 100m to go. Probabeel($10) is in outstanding form this prep. From barrier 2 can easily lead if need be or take a sit  and she loves the slop. Arcadian Queen$6.50) and Russian Camelot($4.40) meet again and I cant see Russian Camelot turning the tables on Arcadian Queen. And Armory($7) has his chance running third in the Group 1 Irish Champion last start. Certainly has the credentials to win this race. The Bondi Stakes and we think Prime Star($4) can turn the tables on Pletzer($2.50) . They meet at the same weight again but the extra 100m suits Prime  Star who need that last start when only beaten 0.5 of a length. The rain did arrive in Melbourne so be mindful of the track condtions.  Its going to be a huge day of racing/night with the grand final of the AFL tonight.
